Just a heads-up for my [i]awful[/i] translation progress...

I'm heading to field camp in ten hours, and as quoted by the commander, I will lose all memory of how it feels like to feel clean. I will dig a foxhole and sleep in it, mud and all. I will march for miles to go before I sleep, and miles to go before I sleep.

(If you can catch that reference, then you're awesome.)

tl;dr I have only done about three to four lines of V11.3, having spent lots of time having fun in the army. Maybe I'll just translate V11.3 in parts again...

K, SS1 Chapter 1 up. Shoutouts to Xplorer for assisting with page creation and HimekoTachibana of Neg/a/ Nebulas for sparking my interest in this project. And my thanks to the Neg/a/ Nebulas team for providing the raws.

For the people who've been following this thread and are wondering why I'm posting this first instead of more volume 8, the reason's that the hard drive of my now-dead laptop hasn't been recovered yet. I will get around to it, hopefully. And sorry for the long period of inactivity.

Pretty much the same as usual, just replace volume number with SS1 or SS2 for whichever side story it is.

I will go move the illustrations page, and make a sample link for your SS1 chapter 1.

Sounds good. Could you create the page for me or teach me how to do it? Also, we would need to change the Illustrations page to reflect this format as well.

Same Here, In the meantime let me say thanks you for giving me the oportunity to reaq this wonderfull series, I wish I could help translating from J->E, But if needed I can help for E->S

After thinking about it, it would be a lot easier and require no change to the nav programing at all to use this format instead:

Accel World:Volume SS1 Chapter 1

This will just be internal naming that readers don't need to worry about. All the person that need to put in nav link do is like this for chapter 2 example:

Xplorer and I were discussing: Is everyone okay with the future pages on the wiki to be created for the short stories to be titled according to this following format?

Even though i can't read much further than anime ending i still want to thank you for your hard work. I know how tedious can translating be,still you keep going (or at least i hope you do because im observing AW status for quite a short time :) ) and i hope that the day will come when AW translation will catch up to Vol 14. Once again thank you for work already done, and thanks in advance for the work to do with translating rest of the novels.

Vol 14 is coming out tomorrow, people have already gotten their hands on a copy 'somehow' *cough*connections*cough* and doing their best to spoil the plot for everyone on the net

the title for this volume is extremely simple, almost too simple - Laser Archangel

blood leopard and aqua current gets a lot of the limelight (pretty obvious from the cover), niko gets death-flagged (strictly speaking her flag has already been raised in volume 13), haru gets another power-up (generic protagonist halo), chiyu breaks the game with her ability (again) and taku gets almost zero attention (sitting on the sideline growing mushrooms)

I'll be done with uni exams in 3 weeks and the translation on vol 7 will resume around that time, hopefully i can finish that monster of a first chapter by early july

I don't have any Japanese or other relevant language skills for translation, but I would love to help with the proofing/editing of the translation if it is needed or welcome. I just wanted to stop in and say thanks again to the translators. I'm eagerly awaiting the completion of the 5th+ volumes :)

Hey guys, just wanted to drop a line saying thank you for all your work, Accel World kinda took my world by storm when i got forced to read the first chapter and literally couldn't stop till i finished up everything that's up (in order anyway ^^; haven't read past vol 5).

Ah, in case it gets taken the wrong way, in no way am i implying that not having the chapters translated in order is bad, it's definately frustrating to an avid reader but at the same time, i understand that the volumes are translated out of order purely by voluntary work from multiple translators and i should(and am) be grateful that anyone is translating them at all.
