I'm about to start reading the series. Although I do not speak Japanese even proficiently, I am highly fluent in English and can make note of any typos or grammatical errors that I come across. If you don't want to edit the finished volumes anymore, is it worth taking note of them? Chances are if I actually write a note when I come across a typo I'll end up editing it in my copy of the pdf anyway. So far I've read the first chapter, and this translation looks excellent, but even pros make typos periodically.
Oh, and just a quick question—in the Japanese text, does the author refer to Misaka by her given name, or was that a translator's choice? I noticed her being called Mikoto a bit further in on whatever page I ended up on while trying to get the pdf to zoom properly in my viewer.
