There shouldn't be any problem with correcting typos or errors. It would be best to create an account on the wiki once you've got your list of typos for a chapter and are ready to update that chapter. I don't pay attention to the pdfs, but sometimes the version of the text in the pdfs might be different than the version that's on the wiki. Myself and others have made some major edits (ie. changing the narrative tense from present to past tense) in the past few months. I think that there was an update (maybe in Jan of this year) to some of the pdfs that captured most of these major changes for volumes 1-9, and maybe some of the later volumes too (once again I'm not sure because I don't pay attention to the pdfs).

I've noticed that some readers have been finding present to past tense conversions that I missed, or catching typos. So there are certainly be things that you may find to be corrected; though those minor corrections by other readers may not have found it into the pdfs, so some of the things you find may have been fixed already.

Re: given name vs family name, I'm not a translator so I'll let someone else answer.

as soon as i finish uni and other things in my life ill start re-making and reuploading the PDFs, also i'll set some stricter rules and completely switch the PDF system of baka tsuki
