If this book had a sequel, it would ruin the mood of the story......

This was well done.

This is the greatest one-shot novel I've read. It is really suited as a one-shot novel, I can't imagine this LN having a sequel. I mean, the author could go crazy writing more than one book without a proper noun! But, all in all, it is a nice book, but if there is a sequel, I hope it would be a collection of short stories.

The girl and the boy are both kinda archtypish but the author pulls off the archtypes really well, and the Boy's smartass internal commentary is pure gold.

That being said, I kinda wish the author at least attempted to write an ending. Is this novel a one-shot? Cause I'd love to read a sequel...

It was written as a one-shot, I believe. Well, apparently, the writer did start a continuation, but we don't know what happened to it.

ahh, I just realized this novel was written 4 years ago... dammit. Guess we're never gonna see that continuation.

Anyway, mecha won't do for us. Ever. For us, a good story focuses on few characters, their interactions, relations and the development/exploration of all that, just look at all the projects we've done. Mechas don't work with that. Mechas draw attention away from the characters just by being there, and to be useful, you need to use them, so you need many battles and sides, or let's say "wars" and "nations". And to be fleshed out and well-written, that requires tons of people. With that many characters, their depth and the depth of their relations suffer, making it not as good. Therefore not "perfect", and not good enough for us to work on. Sorry.

Ummm...Baldr Sky? It is character driven despite the mechas....I don't mean it as a translation project of course since it's damn unfeasible but as something you might want to try out in future...

What does this sentence mean? :(

Usually, people wouldn't do that much, but he did. It's extraordinary. Especially praiseworthy. And it was tough, but he pulled through. Something like that.
