*EDIT* Maybe I should make this post relevant. Is Vol 9 really going to be the last one? I wouldn't imagine all the rouge factions to be dealt with and the story wrapped up all in 1 freaking book, unless that thing is monster big.

I don't think we really know when the last volume will be, though I doubt that Volume 9 will be it or we'd have heard about it I reckon. Plus as you said, still way too many things to wrap up. Who knows, maybe Tanigawa fancies taking it on up until their graduation. I'd blame the success of the anime if so.

So...when are you gonna do the whole dirty and get started on Volume 8? ^.^

Even if the stuff with the rival factions were wrapped up, there's still quite a few other things that need tied up and certainly other things that could be done with the series.

Although I'm not sure if I'd want it carried on further than graduation

Editor is a good read that you should definitely read.

Shadow is kinda, meh, since the first 10% or so are all flashbacks.
