I think that translators that have contributed at least 6 chapters to B-T (like me) should be granted immunity from all purges since we always seem to be short of translators. Give a carrot!

anyway, Translators, if they have contributed at leased 3 or more chapters then i'll keep their forum accounts, (Not bothering with wiki accounts, too much effort)
but I will remove them from the Translators group including forum & Wiki access rights if they have not been translating in the past 12 months.

Haruhi has been merciful. be wise and take it.
also due to the fact that i cannot selectively choose which users on the pruning list to delete or not, i may or may not have deleted some inactive translators/editors.

some reason this reminds me of the usa judical system. mainly many people are imprisioned are mostly criminals but many could be innocent. meaning the translators are the innocent ones while the inactive one are criminals

Oni, I think it would be better if you elevate this thread to global announcement, at least during this purging process. Cuz I know some members who are active, and yet did not increase their posts to avoid being purged = do not know that your doing this. Because they may only visit the forums they're interested in/not knowing the existence/significance of this thread. Well, Muffinman is an example. Global announcement would make sure that everyone knows it.
