bleh. I have a bad cold, so forgive me in advance if I don't make much sense.

FYI: DarkoNeko did not like the idea of a bot running around doing these inactive updates. *shrugs*[/quote]

That's wrong.
What I don't like is the idea if having several people running automated scripts on b-t's wiki.
I've been running a bot account on the Wikimedia Projects since 2005, and if there's one thing I know it's this : humans sometimes screw up, but it takes a bot to screw up really spectaculary.

Mhhh, so do you mean you would like to have only one bot to rule them all ???

Huh?

He wants people with experience to take the risk, not "rookies".

I should have clarified what I meant better. @______@;

Correct me if I'm wrong DarkoNeko, but on IRC, you said you didn't think it was a good idea to depend on an external source (like mangaupdates) to evaluate activity, which is essentially what my database does.

In fact, your comments got me thinking again and I came up with a proposal for tracking updates internally, here. XD

Hence, that was why I said DarkoNeko did not approve. But if I misunderstood DarkoNeko about that too, then there's no issue at all then. xD

As long as the bot doesnt create false activity... ;)
