This light novel should be translated!

FMP placed at 1st at 2008 and 8th at 2009 in the annual light novel guide book Kono Light Novel ga Sugoi!
This is the proof that FMP is worthy enough to be translated!

Maybe it's true that FMP has been licensed in some country, but absolutely not in my country or other country that share the same fate as me!

Baka-tsuki's reader is not only from US or Europe but everyone in the world that connected through the internet!

So, not translating this series because of "licensed in some country" reason, i absolutely object!

Because that is really unfair!!

On a related note, it appears that volume 4 is stuck in an infinite delay loop, with no news on any possible release date (in fact, it isn't even listen on Tokyopop's site anymore, only 1-3).

It's sigma. Σ.

It's something like 10 volumes of "season 1" of the novels, then "season 2" of the novels, *Σ* has another 10 novels. something like that. I don't have all the numberings though. Kind of like KnS, you have the main volumes, then there's ignition.

Full Meta Panic Sigma is a manga, not the novel, so the number is right. wiki

What a blunder on my part...that's what you get when you glaze over some kanji because you're too lazy :)

I'm gonna start reading BOMF and I will translate it as I read along. I'm starting from scratch and my translation will have nothing taken from RavynPhoenix's except maybe some names.
I've been away for a veeery long time, which doesn't mean I've stopped learning Japanese. I may consider helping with the znt translation at some point when I'm done reading the bomf, cmmd and anot(I have all 3 of them)

I've reconsidered. I found a complete translation of BOMF, so if anyone wants it, pm me. I have also found a translation of cmmd from prologue to chapter 4 incl. If there's a chapter 5 I'll translate it.

Oh, I didn't know B-T's policy towards FMP. It's too bad really, the last time I was in Tokyo I bought up the latest 4 novels so I'm willing to work on them... I'm currently reading the latest one at the moment and fooling around at translating some of the short stories, but nothing complete enough to release so far. I finished translating the Cinderella play story last November and then found out someone had already done it, argh.

Monty Python references ftw!!!

I made a pdf for "Burning One Man Force" and "Tsudou Make My Day" using the translations of Ravyn and Shutazen. If you want them, I can send you the link by PM.

I've seen the Ravyn chapters and they are very well done, but I am thinking about redoing all of the Shutazen ones myself since it looks like a total machine translation.

But you have to understand that this is not possible here, since the Baka-Tsuki server is placed in a country where it is licensed - so If you have a server in a different country you could do that - maybe...
Please don't mind my bad english since I'm german.

Doubt it, ever since the C&D incident, the chances are next to nil.
