It just so happens I've been playing around with that idea for some time now, as I've been following it even before the announcement for an animated series. I don't particularly mind translating it but I won't say it's 100% accurate (considering it's C>E and some Chinese words are pretty hard to change to English). If you'd like I can translate the prologue of Vol 1 whenever I have the time, then you may see if it's good enough.

Prologue is not enough for people to tell whether they like it or not. The value of this slice-of-life story is apparent only after the whole of volume 1. But I won't want to discourage you from translating it. As for difficult to translate words, it's the same for Japanese or other languages anyway. Please help yourself.

I finished Papakiki volume 1, and I must say I like it a lot, much more than Mayoi Neko.
