Re: Majutsushi Orphen Haguretabi/Mubouhen
Hahaha, bothering ME? Do you know how desperate I am to have this series translated? XD Although, I'm annoyed because I was looking in the back of the first volume of the manga, and it had a note from the author saying he was GOING to make the manga follow the novels very closely, but the rest of the team made him change his mind! Sigh.
I am still looking for the names, but I did find out in my search that there was not only an Orphen Vs. Slayers drama CD, but a 1 volume novel as well. Intriguing!
Edit: 魔術士オーフェン, is the first part, "Majutsushi Orphen"...I will find the full name for the Haguretabi and Mubouhen parts of the title too, though.

Re: Majutsushi Orphen Haguretabi/Mubouhen
Curse that manga! It tormented me for years with its 6 books and cliffhanger ending! Lol!
Update, though: I think I have a translator, however, he is not part of the site and I do not know him personally. I got the connection through a coworker. The coworker says the guy speaks 13 different languages working for the government and translates full time. Apparently the coworker put in a personal request for me, and the guy already has like, ten books done (how he did that in a week I have no idea, and am almost skeptical, but hey, whatever works). He's doing it for free, so if it turns out to be legit, I will gladly upload the English version to baka-tsuki so people can check it out!
Edit: Although, if any translators here want to take on the project, that's fine too >> Like I said, I don't know if my coworker is just blowing smoke out his ass or what. And it's always nice to get different translations of the same novels for a broader understanding.

Ten books in one week...
I can understand the 13 languages part, but...ten books in one week...

Re: Majutsushi Orphen Haguretabi/Mubouhen
unless you are using machine translators, I find that figure hard to believe unless he's not a human being. tell me his average pages translated per hour (or words if you prefer) and how many hours does he work per day?
