The Sacred Blacksmith

The Sacred Blacksmith / Seiken no Katanakaji

Summary: The story takes place after an abominable war that foisted a "devil's contract" upon a land. Cecily Campbell, a former noble's daughter who joined a knighthood, encounters a man who dispatches some hoodlums with one sweep of a mysterious sword. The man possesses the power of the same "devil's contract" that has become taboo, now that peace has been restored. Cecily has been searching for a blacksmith who can repair an old sword she inherited from her father, and that mysterious young man happens to be blacksmith named Luke. This encounter launches their adventures together.
Stolen from Mangaupdates which stole it from ANN.

This series has a manga and an anime.

Personally, I think it looks like a solid, fun story. There are currently 7 volumes out.

digital copying is not stealing,

it's transcripting for personal use, not for sale or academic qualifications purposes.

Sorry... might be a little late to point this out... but is the translation of the title correct?

From what i see, the chinese is respectively, 聖劍, 刀鍛治...

聖劍 - Sacred Blade/Sword
刀鍛治 - Blacksmith/Smithing?

So the title of "The sacred blacksmith" seems to indicate that the blacksmith is the special one, whereas my impression is more of "Blacksmith of the sacred blade", as in he is not a saint, but he is the one that made a sacred sword, rather than that the blacksmith himself being sacred... Sorry if i am wrong in any way...
God!!
You need not forgive me.
For those I love,
The violence brought about by sinful men
Shall now be used once more.
If you were created to save this world,
If there is a single shred of hope left for the future of mankind,
I am very sorry, but, please begone!

It is the author's translation of the Japanese title.
You can even see it on the novel cover.

I've been enjoying the anime so far and would love to see how the novels compare. Though according to Wikipedia, it's 6 volumes and still ongoing, and I'm always kind of wary of potentially endless series and their ability to stick to a contained plot.

I've been enjoying it myself, and I know there's 7 volumes out (Have raws and such). Can't actually read them, but it doesn't look like the plot is chaotic from the illustrations.
