The novel begins in U.C. 0001, at the very beginning of human space colonization, with the Laplace Incident, a major event that influences the course of human history forever. The main story takes place in U.C. 0096, three years after the events of Mobile Suit Gundam: Char's Counterattack and 27 years before the movie Mobile Suit Gundam F91.
The story revolves around Banagher Links, a seemingly normal boy living and going to school in the space colonies. His life changes one day when he meets a girl named Audrey Burne. Little does he know, this decision will get Banagher entangled in a conspiracy revolving around a new Gundam weapon, and an adventure beyond imagination.

And I'm told they are doing a great job in adapting it but there is not enough time to fit it all in. Therefore, it would be great to read this. Gundam does surprisingly well in novel form too.

what a funny coincident, just finished watching Episode 2 & 3.

I love the new ret-con of it.
I still have the old VCD of Gundam ZZ Anime, one of the series before this.

One of the few Gundam anime mech i love, because they were so Macross like! (The other one was the 008th MS Team Gundam Series).

And i thought i had gone off Gundam again after watching a little of Gunsdam 00 2nd Series, which did away all the good stuff the 1st series did......

It also explains why they did Gundam Unicorn in OVA, high quality anime should always be backed with high quality story/plot which can only come from a Light Novel.

It'll be interesting to reader some teasers......While I wait for Episode 04.
