Actually in the later volumes, Koizumi can be proven to not be a homosexual or bisexual. His entire personality is a act right? And Haruhi believes his fake personality is his true personality. If Haruhi believes that Koizumi is a metrosexual and has an attraction to Kyon or acts like he does. Then he can't change the way he acts because it's the set personality that he has been acting all along. Also, it is the personality that Haruhi prefers (because she has her yes man following her everywhere.
