Apparently the novel is the exact opposite as the anime. It gets serious at the later volumes.

I lasted 1 volume- not because it is bad, but because the plot is a bit too convenient for my taste.

I'm not sure if I missed some summaries in a different section or something, but generally what happens plot wise in comparison to the novels and the anime?

Like how many volumes currently, basic outline of at least a few of the volumes, that kind of stuff. was it written in a different forum?

lol, I'm busy wasting time over at my blog (http://www.shou-setsu.blogspot.com), and PuiPui! translations. I've kinda been off and on for wanting to read these, but when TNG said ~5 minutes a page, and then I looked at my ~20-30 minutes, looking up grammer, kanji, compounds, etc etc, I realized again just what a noob I am O_o. So I won't be translating, but maybe in 2010 sometime if it isn't picked up by then I'd be interested. Another year at the japanese language school, and then into the University, that should really help my studies.

Not all that interested in Ninomiya... And i am having a hard time catching up with schoolwork... even my current translations are so slow they are almost stopping!! Kazuma, Ren and Ayano, sorry... Hey look on the bright side, at least we wont see Ren's first love anytime soon!! And Misao do not have to have that ending either!!

Shana, never did like your series all that much afterall, i hate all the difficult words... oh well, been wishing for the death of the twins.... will try to kill them if i ever find the time!!

I'd like to give this one a try; the premise sounds fun, but the anime made me want to wack my head into a wall. It would be intertesting to see if the novel was any better.

I want to restart this because this is a really good anime and I want to read the novel. I have a friend that lived in Japan for a couple of years and told me this has a true Harem ending. Which is so rare.
