Anyhoo a daily anecdote thread, where you post anything interesting in your day to day life. Besides I'm one of those people that think the saying, "May you live in interesting times,"
I believe it's rather awesome. You can also comment, discussions and most likely de-rail and etc.
Allow me to begin:
Now I was participating in a school muiscal until yesterday- yesterday was the final night of performing the show. It feels so empty and sad.. All that hard work, the meoried you had and shared.. All gone.. >.<

penny for your thoughts..
i think that anecdote was of chinese origin, just can't remember for the life of me where i read it from. if memory serves me though, this well-meaning phrase has a darker side to it. its true intention when first coined was more of a curse than any well-wishing. if you think about the "interesting" times in history - the events most studied in history classes all over the world - you'll find that it isn't the most pleasant of circumstances: French Revolution, American Civil War, Great Depression, World War II and the Holocaust, Cold War, Chinese Cultural Revolution, etc. whereas the "uninteresting" times in history are relegated to oblivion.
think about it, between a whole year of pleasant weather and a couple days of fire from the sky, which would you remember more? which would better represent the human condition?
