Indeed. I've really been enjoying cross game. One of the best shows of 2 seasons ago, and still ongoing.

Aoi Bungaku: Despite the high ratings I see, I only read like 1 review that is actually positive...

Kanon had it. Air (somewhat) had it. Clannad has it. And even Little Busters have it.

It doesn't help when I found the show pretty boring. I also thought it was overrated when I compared it to the really good dramas (ie. Tora Dora and Haibane)

Well, Cross Game is no more a baseball anime than One Outs was, but if it's not your thing, I won't try and force it on you.

And personally, I have no problems with miracles as plot devices so long as they aren't deus ex machinas.

All the sick and injured girls in Kanon magically healing so quickly isn't deus ex machina?

Clannad's time rewinding and Nagisa being alive isn't deus ex machina?

Forgot about Air, and I don't feel like spoiler Little Busters (yet)

It is the best and only one I have seen. So, how are Major and Big Wind-up, etc.?
