Re: Anime Fall 2011
Inu x Boku...is it 24 eps? Since the pacing definitely needs more than 12 eps to work

Re: Anime Fall 2011
MAL only has it down for 12, but I don't know how trusted of a source that is. I wouldn't mind it lasting longer.
Slightly off topic, what shows are going to be continues from previous seasons this year?
I know Fate/Zero and Guilty Crown. Any others?

Re: Anime Fall 2011
you're gonna bury me with titles then..
i barely have enough time as it is wrestling my eroge in between those few moments between getting back from work and sleeping, and breathers from anime marathons during those 2 days off of work..
besides, i don't particularly like the idea of watching nisemono without watching bakemono first, which i'm having trouble finding avi releases for.. not to mention i'm not keen on too-popular titles.. i'm more of a hunt-for-the-rare-gem kind of viewer..

Why? There were no plot spoilers in there.shichinanatsu wrote:ep 20!? damn, now i have to get something other than GC's avi releases, gotta wait 30+ mins..
@ainsoph: spoilers please?
kinda feel bad its gonna end in a few more eps, wish it was timed like code geass with 2 seasons of 24 eps, hate it when anime feel too short, like how C ended up..

Re: Anime Fall 2011

edit: watched GC ep20 as well, damn its picking up real good, but if memory serves me there'll be only 2 more eps after this..

Re: Anime Fall 2011
I thought that this series was originally supposed to have 26 episodes. It must have changed.

Re: Anime Fall 2011
@ainsoph: must have been mistaken then, i picked up on the 22-ep plan of GC prior to january, so they must have updated it. either way, more eps work for me.
@Cosmic: that's odd.. last time i checked, trending raw and sub releases at nyaa the last 2-3 seasons are 720p of either mp4 or mkv flavors, which my build just can't handle, specially the latter. the best i can handle are 480p of mp4, mkv, and pretty much any size of avi..

No, it's all in avi. The BD releases are in mp4.
On the other hand, the ones I'm looking at date back to July 2010, so it might be a little hard to acquire.

Shin-chi, you should google up "danusarf". MKV files in HQ there are barely 60 mbs, afaik.

Raws are mp4 these days...mostly. See Zero Raws releases. And I'm talking those that came out just a few days ago.shichinanatsu wrote:@ainsoph: must have been mistaken then, i picked up on the 22-ep plan of GC prior to january, so they must have updated it. either way, more eps work for me.

No one uses 480p anymore BTW...
Does 1280x720x264 AAC work for you?

Re: Anime Fall 2011
Actually, the better groups normally have their own cappers (ie. people who provide raw ts streams). Those uploaded by Zero and Leopard are already encoded, which makes for further reduction in quality if the groups need to re-encode the uncompressed compressed streams again after subbing and whatever post-processing they do. Unless they use soft subbing, and just demux and remux without any re-encoding. That's why good fansub groups normally don't use them unless they have no cappers.
