The translation for the Nagato picture is this:

Or rather,

At the bottom, it says:

DarkMirage speculates on his site that this part means that the season won't be called Suzumiya Haruhi no Yuuutsu Season 2, like they had apparently announced previously, but Suzumiya Haruhi no Shoushitsu, after the title of Volume 4, which makes sense considering all the Disappearance-related stuff already used to promote the second season. And from his translation of the escape program, it appears to be word-for-word from the book, as far as I can tell...

Now we just hope that KadoUSA takes until after the end of the season to license it, since I don't think a.f.k. subs licensed series. I don't want to have to rely on Your-Mom or worse for my Haruhi fansub fix... If this isn't just another false alarm, of course. Maybe we'll find out on the 21st, which is when the normal Haruhi.tv site should be coming back.

And on a humorous note, apparently any word that even contains the "S-word" flags the forum censor and gets changed to "pooping". LOL

A new director...That's a recipe for disaster (from previous encounters), but I'll just wait and see.

Not true. Actually, they got a new director for Lucky Star after about episode 4, and the series did a lot better.

By the way, Fushichou, what is up with all the name changes, if you do not mind me asking? It is almost like Prince trying to weasel out of his crappy contracts. (i.e., the artist formerly known as Prince)

I said a report about fall 07, not the 08 one.

I didn't really doubt the 08 rumor since I knew Clannad was gonna air before Haruhi 2 did.

It's FMP's director, who also directed Lucky Star after Episode 4.

It's kind of obvious he loves the Haruhi series, considering what he did do with Lucky Star.

Either that, or he is hard up for work and wants to ensure constant employment by doing well. I think that if he did well with Lucky Star, he will do well with SHnY2.
