Re: Full Metal Alchemist Brotherhood
in America (USA) we have these late night program called Adult Swims filled with shows that contains mature anime dubbed in english (ghost in shell, paranoid agent, wolf rain, etc.) and rather alot of obscene cartoons like Aqua Teen Hunger Force about a voodoo french fries head or something. or Metalocalypse bunch of 4 metal head players doing whatever they want. The Venture Bros. is like johnny quest on crack. one of Hannan-Barbara character Bird-Man from the 70's becomes an attorney on the Harvey Birdman, Attorney at Law. Personally i hate these shows. cept venture bros. and robot chicken. I prefer the old toonami over this.
here the list of shows:

Re: Full Metal Alchemist Brotherhood
Perhaps because it wasnt complete? For example he got some hints from the book? Or perhaps if he went charging towards those homunculus, they would probably have slaughtered him before anything else. Most probably answer would be because of the threat that they would kill off that village, or any other villages. After meeting Winry and gang, he finally made up his mind to atone for his sins, no matter the costs. I think this is the most likely answer.yajra03 wrote:yeah, episode 43 was a godlike ep. but im just curious.. if marcoh already new the reversal of philosopher stone.. why he didnt use it in the past to destroy the other homunculus like lust? what do you think?
God!!
You need not forgive me.
For those I love,
The violence brought about by sinful men
Shall now be used once more.
If you were created to save this world,
If there is a single shred of hope left for the future of mankind,
I am very sorry, but, please begone!

Re: Full Metal Alchemist Brotherhood
Ep 43
Yet another epic battle scene.
At first I thought Envy would follow Lust as the second Homunculus to be killed off, but that would defeat the purpose of luring him in and capturing him. (Which in itself was cleverly executed, when everyone was expecting a cliched formula of Zampano selling out Marcoh to Envy)
Not sure I completely understand what Marcoh just did. Did he basically disintegrate the philosopher stone(s) inside Envy?
From how Mustang killed Lust by "killing" her many, many times until her stone ran out of ammo (and thus regenerative power), I thought a homunculus would die when its stone is taken out or exhausted.
But what Marcoh did was he just destroyed the stone in one go altogether and yet managed to preserve Envy's essence, and that's what's getting me confused.
