Well, my Vdigi wii vga cable came in the mail finally, and I'm quite happy with it.
It means I don't need a tv to play my wii on once I move into the very small dorm room I'll be moving into on Thursday.
Did I mention I'm leaving for college on monday?

Component-> VGA converter boxes tend to be really expensive~$150 for a decent one.
A component-> VGA cable isn't any good because the signals are encoded differently; unless you have a rare device capable of vga output through component, the cables are pretty much worthless.
The cable I got http://www.vdigi.com/index.php?page=sho ... t&Itemid=1 is relatively inexpensive while providing good quality and actually working.
