Bootfighter Windom XP SP-2 is a free giant mecha battle simulator game thing. It features giant robots, giant lasers, giant beam swords, big swarms of missiles, lots of giant robots, destructible cities, fun combat, and frenetic battles. There's no story, there's no plot, there's no reason why you're piloting mecha named after OSes blowing each other up.

You've got various modes ranging from survival, team battle, and a mode which pits two teams of giant robots, each with two massive super flying battleships with the objective of blowing the other team's battleships out of the sky.

Furthermore, the game lets you customize your own pilots and various taunts, messages and whatnot so you can fight Darth Vader as Wallachia and laugh manically every time you unleash a final attack (Katta. Katta katta katta katta katta katta KATTA!!!!!). It's really cool.

Lastly, there's multiplayer.

It looks nice, but I'd rather be playing with GvG if I wanted some Gundam fun.

It's a blatant ripoff of Virtual-on, Gundam, Macross, etc. Not that it matters because it's cool.

Tried it out, I was amused. Just needs more mechs or the ability to import your own. I'm sure it's possible but I don't have any on hand. Where are the user created ones?

Yeah, I had a lot of free time in the airport. Now I want to finish my ARX-8 model and import it and script all the attacks!
