You can play them for free legally. Mahou Tsukai no Yoru is only a demo version though. Still, it is really good so far from what I have played.

Not really interested in games. I only played it because you recommended it. Yet I still barely play... I'm also barely playing Final Fantasy I... Got like 13 more to go... *sigh*

It is in Japanese, but it does not matter too much. You should be able to get figure it out pretty quickly.
