Turns out Torrentspy and isohunt are blocked if you're in the US while Demonoid is blocked if you're in Canada. Don't fret! Just use proxies to bypass them. Here's a simple way, but not the only one.

First, switch to Firefox if you haven't. Then get this:

http://mozmonkey.com/switchproxy/

Install, etc. Then go here:

http://tools.rosinstrument.com/proxy/

Grab a few of the proxy listings there and add it to the proxy list.

Turn it on while browsing whatever site you want. Be warned that it does slow down loading time by a little though, so don't leave it on 24/7. I believe this will get megaupload to work if you stay outside of North America too.

Of course, there are other anonymizers, like

If I need a particular country for this, I usually check http://www.aliveproxy.com/


When I need to get files from Rapidshare and alike services, I use Universal Share Downloader aka USDownloader: take it here - from the topmost link. It can be fed with a list of proxies exported to text file from, say:

http://nntime.com/index.php?cmd=reset
http://www.checker.freeproxy.ru/checker ... roxies.php
http://theproxyconnection.com/proxylist1.html

USDownloader can be updated from http://usd.altupdate.ru/USD/ (paste this into program as 'Update from server:' link; default update servers don't (and won't) work, most likely because of Rapidshare stuff).
Lately it's very handy for my Megaupload downloads regardless of my IP - I don't feel like installing their spying toolbar on my IE, and useragent spoofing with my favourite Opera doesn't work anymore (it's Megaupload 'feature', not an Opera issue).

But for complete anonymity (at cost of the speed, so only web surfing is available) I use Tor+Privoxy+Vidalia bundle. Of course, in order to be really anonymous your browser MUST be set up not to reveal personal information: no ActiveX, Java, JavaScript, cookies, plugins (e.g.Flash), and absolutely no referrer.

Ah, I remember using proxy changers back in highschool. I felt so 1337 accessing sites no one else could too. Just checking in, I'm not dead yet! My latest project was pretty badass. Going to crack a full version of fraps and make a video of it.

If you're curious, you can bypass tracker checking by turning on a setting in your torrent downloader (forget which)... But that should have been activated by default.

On the subject it seams that ThePiratBay is being blocked in Netherlands as some other countries in Europe, I am bypassing it with http://proxy.org/ and http://anonymouse.org/, hope it helps all approved comrades.

I think is not going against wikicommunist state since, the solution provided is meant to be used in only non communistic countries, which in return should benefit communist comrades by undermining the social order in the enemy states.
