OCR or Text recognition software for japanese novel raw?

i want to learn Japanese by reading light novel but all the raw is in pdf format and the text is not editable so i cant use online translator for help, so can anyone recommend me a OCR or Text recognition software than can convert a scanned novel pdf file into editable text file like word or something?

I believe http://www.ocr-extract.com/ accepts PDF, but the site restricts file size.
Can't you use a PDF to image converter? That usually works even for protected documents.

image is fine too but is there any recommended offline OCR?

Try using VeryPDF OCR to any converter.
It works fine for pdf files of any language.
