This Light Novel Is Amazing 2012

確かに快作を見つける時は充実感があるけど、はずれ時はなんか”時間の無駄だ”の感じがもっと強いｗｗｗ。

そうですか？私にとっては、
充実感と言えばちょっと意味に欠けます。
その以上の快楽さ・嬉しさを感じて、
痛いほどに胸が高鳴って、
気持ちの儚さとその儚さに付く悲しみが脳で蘇ります。

一人ひとりの感性は根本的に違うから、
自分の心に響くようなどストライク作品はやはり自分の手でしか見付からないだろう。

取りあえず歴代トップテンの単発は読んで損しない。

妙な話かもしれないが、正直このラノにランクインした作品のうち、
シリーズ作より単発のほうがずっと読み応えがあるって前々から思っているんだ。

ちなみに、個人トップはミネルヴァと智慧の樹っていう単発。
何回も読み返したことがあるんけど、
いつも新しい発見があって飽きたりしたことは一度もない。
ただそれはこのラノのトップ６０さえも一度入ったことのないどマイナー作品で
好き嫌いがかなり激しいって思われてもしようがない。

Bungaku Shoujo still there even if it has been a few years since it has been completed? Man...

For the characters, Araragi second? For Kirito, I might've doubted it, but why is it now that he became that popular (same for the novel)?

No great surprise with the girls(well, except a few), though I wonder who is 稲葉?

こっちとしては、傑作ならジャンルを問わず何でも大歓迎っていう姿勢をいつも取っている。
何と言っても、傑作といえる作品もほんの僅かしかないし、ジャンルっていう適当な概念に頼りっぱなしで作品を選ぶなんてどうも気に食わない体質なんだ。

常に開放的な気持ちでいれば、予想外の所で運命的な作品に出会えるかもしれないよ。

ミネルヴァ智慧の樹ってどんな作品ですか？探偵小説ですか？それとも、ミステリー小説？

強いて言えばミステリーの部類に入っているかな。

ただそれだけだとはとても言えない。二・三文字のレーベルで一作品を安易にまとめようとするなんて、やはりどうかと思う。ジャンルとしてではなく、作品として向き合って欲しい。

Idolizing! is the golden prize winner in the 17th Dengeki Novel Award, mixing cute girls as idols, wrestling and yuri together. The title sounds like the main part of the story is working as an idol, but in fact it is more about wrestling.

Yea the premises sounds weird, but it is not the first day you come across weird stuff in light novels.

Personally I prefer the silver prize winner, Hataraku Maou-sama, though.

No great surprise with the girls(well, except a few), though I wonder who is 稲葉?

私もその姿勢が取りたいけど、やっぱり、シリアスな恋愛物語は苦手です。コメディとしてはともかく、そんなジャンルを読む時は、なんか“甘過ぎって、このストーリーは甘い!”(また寒い冗談はごめん )感情がある。恋愛以外のジャンルは大歓迎だけどwww。まあ、一番大好きジャンルはやっぱり探偵とミステリーだよね。あの二つのジャンルなら、私の態度は、“試しようかな〜”より“絶対に試す”ほうが近い。何せ、agata christie の作品に育てられたから 。

What is that? (Sorry once again.)

It is about a demon king who upon his defeat was somehow teleported to modern day Tokyo with one of his minions, where they struggle to make a living and blend into the society. Without any practical knowledge and academic qualification, the demon king could only get a McJob. In the meantime the hero (or heroine more precisely) who has been chasing after the demon king throughout her life also got teleported to Tokyo. Since heroes can apparently speak all languages on earth she got a well-paid customer service job handling foreign inquiries. But she has never forgotten her mission and is determined to find and kill the demon even in Tokyo.

By vol 3 the two of them has almost become a tsundere couple taking care of a kid together. The fantasy parts are okay, but the focus is the supposedly mundane but unexpectedly funny daily stuff of how the RPG denizens learn to live like a Japanese.

Btw Kadokawa Taiwan/PRC has licensed it and will publish an official translation of vol.1 by the end of this month.

Just like "Bungaku Shoujo" = "Book Girl" (as much as I hate to admit), isn't the two the same series denoted in different ways (romanization vs. liberal translation) ?
