I see...good thing I guess. I would have been really unsatisified with only the short ending. I can't see Itsuki falling for someone else though, so that hit me as as a weak way to end things happily for her.

Just finished Vol 11. I am really enjoying it so far. He seems really torn with his feelings alot of the times though. I'm kinda weary about who hes going to end up with. Taking a break to watch Hajime No Ippo with some friends. Hope its pretty good.

How often does it happen in manga, anime, and dating sims that the protagonist falls for his childhood friend?

I can think of it happening in... Kanon... err... hrm... Love Hina?

Halfway through Video Girl Ai now. I'm enjoying this one a bit more than I's honestly. The main characters are always so indecisive sheesh.

*Edit* Finished it and the 2 side stories as well. Good tear-jerkers.

Just getting it out of my system now.

I'm hoping this new year will go over alot better for me. I'm a lovesick Itsuki and can relate to parts of these stories. Mix that with coming home and feeling all the nostalgia. Meh... :shrugs:

Video Girl Ai...

Hard to describe.

When i was reading through this today, I only thought of one thing. Well, two things actually.

1. Main character looks A LOT like Son Gohan from DBZ. Heck, Ai looks so much like Videl at some points. I kept wondeirng when he'd change into the Great Saiyaman costume.

2. The artist sure likes to draw nipples.

3. Ai is so similar to Itsuki.

4. Main character also looks like Pheonix Wright!!!!

Other than that, it's a typical love love minor harem manga.

Speaking of pheonix wright, during the last bit of the Lone Island syndrome in the anime (when Haruhi is explaining her conclusion), all the animations are taken directly out of that game. Like literally, same timing of actions too.
