Let me see here. Recently, I saw "Robin Hood: Men in Tights" and a couple of documentaries, one of which was "Michael Moore Hates America." Both of these movies were hilarious. 5/5 and 4/5 respectively.

Has anyone watched the two recent movies about Aung San Suu Kyi and Margaret Thatcher? They are being shown in the local cinemas here right now and I wonder if they worth the ticket price.

Ok, has anyone here seen Bunraku? I saw it today and I found it to be pretty friggin amazing. I loved the art design and costume design, and I thought that for a not very famous movie, the acting was great and the plot was really cool.

I saw that a couple of weeks ago.

I found it pretty fantastic. Rotten Tomatos hated its guts, so you know its either great or awful. I think this kind of movie is really hit or miss.

I don't trust Rotten Tomatoes. Book of Eli was great movie. They didn't think so... I think...

It got a 48%, which is pretty decent from them. Bunraku managed to score a fantastic 13%.....-_-

It was alright, but nothing noteworthy. Seems a tad bit weird, but it did have it's good parts.

I just watched "The Hulk." It was meh...

Xmen Origins was great. To bad the ending was an open ending.

I saw "Limitless" the other day. 4/5

I saw the "Pray for Japan" documentary last night at the theater. It focused mostly on putting faces on the people affected by Tohoku earthquake, which included families, educators, volunteers, students, and leaders. It did not cover the nuclear plant meltdown though. At the same time, it was really helpful to bring a sense of understanding and community between people and peoples. The documentary gave the feel of a VN in a way because of how it told the story; however, the only choices were the ones that the individuals and groups made in the documentary as well as how one decides to respond. While the documentary's mood was not always the happiest, it put a face of hope and teamwork up for the future. Interestingly enough, companies like Funimation, Studio DEEN, Production I.G., and RightStuf! had some involvement in the movie as well as many other individuals and groups. The movie was produced and directed mostly by Stu Levy, who is a fairly well-known figure in the anime industry here in the United States.
