None of them really have music videos, and most of what's there are crappy fan videos. Meh.

Juno Reactor is used in a lot of movies. They play a track named "Guardian Angel" during OP if the anime series "Texhnolyze" (which is not worth watching, IMHO...)

Kraftwerk is a very obscure, early German pioneer techno/synthpop group. their song "Das Modell" was made semi-mainstream when industrial metal group Rammstein did a remake of it... though they are more famous for their single "Autobahn."

Infected Mushroom is an Israeli techno/trance group. I haven't encountered thier work anywhere in mainstream media, and they do about 50/50 lyrical and non-lyrical tracks.

Violet Arcana is a VERY obscure trance group that operated out of Seattle Wa. for awhile, and I don't think they exist anymore. You could only get their CDs direct from them, which they'd mail with a packet of flower seeds (Violets, of course.) I was introduced to their music by a friend in college.

Everybody who knows electronic funk knows who Daft Punk is. I may as well add Fatboy Slim to the list, if that counts at all.

huh, almost a year old necropost.

Sandstorm reminds me of a discussion I was having with a friend a while back. He argued that Sandstorm wasn't techno, needless to say we all called BS on that

Saying Sandstorm isn't techno is like saying Michael Jackson isn't a creepy black-turned-white dude who likes children.

...as long as it's on-topic

Is it just me, or does techno sound so much better when played loud through real speakers (opposed to headphones)?

Unless the headphones are high quality with a good amount of bass. Even then decent speakers with bass sound better especially in a room with good sound ambiance.

All music sounds better through speakers. Unless you have a lot of background noise or something. Then the fancy noise-canceling ones are nice.
