Its a H-game to anime series again.
Its more like a Japanese tragic romance Drama but in anime form.
It's pretty good at addressing the adult scenes, in a tasteful manner.

oh, if anyone is interested,
i've discovered this thread on a Tsukihime fan forum, they are naturally intereste4d in kara no Kyokai, (as well as Fate/Stay Night)
you can find them here:
http://nrvnqsr.proboards20.com/index.cg ... 1125533497
Its very interesting, as i discovered that volume 03, has actually been completely translated by Takajun, the one who allowed us to host his translations. I guess Editor Velocity 7 the one who made the page (I believe?) probably had a older version and not had the whole lot.
But meh....

F/SN has your average RPG-ish plot (7 servants do battle, the lone victor shall claim the holy grail) but some really interesting characters. Too bad the plot was pretty linear IMO (first A gets defeated, then B comes in, and after that C, and so on). F/SN had some really good episodes (12, 14 and 22 IMO) but it also had one of the most ridiculous scenes in anime (a big ugly dragon that you normally see in ultraman).
I'll give it a 7 or 8, so decide for yourself if it's worth watching ;P

Typemoon's definition of an archer will make you go... wtf?
Am I the only one who thinks that HolyCow's ability to recall exactly which episodes were good, extremely wierd?

*Raises hand* I too find it slightly disturbing he gives episode numbers instead of "this one time on that episode I can't remember the number because I'm a normal person...".Umiman wrote:Typemoon's definition of an archer will make you go... wtf?

Fine, fine.
Episode 12: Saber and Rider clash on the rooftop of a tall building. The time is late at night, as the both of them use their Noble Phantasms in a fight to the death. (For those who have not watched F/SN, the noble phantasm is sort of like an overdrive, the finishing move of a character. It is an immensely powerful move that is usually connected with the servant's true identity.)
Episode 14: Archer battles Berserker, whose Noble Phantasm "God Hand" gives him 12 reincarnations after he has been killed. Unable to stall for long, archer decides to utter some a cool poem in English and unleash his trump card...
Episode 22: Lancer duels Gilgamesh to give Saber and Shirou enough time to escape.

now now, if i wanted normal people to translate for Baka-Tsuki, I would call this website Banana~Loonies and hire monkeys for peanuts.
Anyway, seems like another contributor is interested in the series.
Since we aren't stickle from where the translation comes from, we seem to getting some helpful looks, both of these users are working from the Korean version, which is grammatically similar to Japanese.
Please lend a hand, because the current Translator, Alyeris, has some "rusty" Korean, so any help with the editing is appreciated.

I can probably name every OP and EN theme to each of the anime I've ever watched if I wanted to. I remember one time where I finished my tests and was not allowed to leave the hall. I then proceeded to write up 40+ anime titles and their respective OP and EN themes. When it was time to hand up our papers, I realized that there were more than 150 extra 'answers' on my sheet - which the teacher proceeded to mark with a big, fat, red "?"]
I can probably do so now, but meh, I'm too lazy ;P
