lol, three's a crowd

Hm, like...

Jutsushi or practitioner?

By the same token, what should Fuujutsushi be changed to? Leave it as Fuujutsushi? Change it to Fuujutsu practitioner? Or go all the way with Wind Arts Practitioner?

Also, should "ki" be left as-is? And if so, what's a youma's ki called? Youki? Youma ki?

And... A whole bunch of other things which I need to check up on @_@

Firstly, personally i think Jutsushi is better, since you are calling the different abilities Jutsu, like Fuu-Jutsu. Unless we translate those, or else i think its better to use Fuu-jutsushi. Fuu-jutsu practitioner sounds quite weird to me. Wind Arts practitioner might also be possible though...hmm...

So I guess we can talk about using entire English terms such as Arts and Practitioner, or just jutsu and jutsushi.

Ki is hard to translate... And youma'ki should be youki I believe, this one, i have no idea how to translate into English. Scent is weird, gas or air or wind is also weird, so I think its best to keep as 'ki'? Any better suggestions? (This is the same term as dragonball? and in chinese martial arts, some...)

No one else is posting...

...Ahhhhhhhh whatever, I'll just change everything back to jutsushi later on.

ki is sometimes italicized, sometimes quoted, and sometimes neither @_@

This is why we need guidelines :|

I dont italize ki, but probably quote it... Which do you think work best? I will try to stick to that

ki should mean something similar to spiritual energy flow or you can say similar to dragonball way of using it ^^; since i read the translated work from you guys and it mostly refer to presence and spiritual energy in my opinion. i personally prefer to keep it as is - ki . sound better, too
youma's ki should be youki ( that was what used in inuyasha a lot so it must be)

jutsushi does sound better than the translated version. the meaning context can be understand quite easy as you read on. a translator note work just fine.

and just keep the parentheses if the raw have them. easier to keep the format. plus, easier to see.

just my opinions.

I am sad that the author passed on before he can finish the novel which is a great loss...
and I am really dying to see what will happen to the couple sob...
too early, too soon

yes, the author death was a great loss
and it is such a remorse to even think of the fact that it happened.
leukemia isnt an untreatable disease but... it is definitely too sad that it could get to that degree.
i do think that the author even though know of his/her end but do not want to end the story absurdly left it hanging
i just hope someone will take up the torch and help him/her finish his/her life work.

which bring me to a question,
is the project being stalled and potentially getting drop?
i mean there was little to no activity within the forum and much less on the project itself.

hi.. i saw that you need some editors. i'll be happy to help.
by the way, what is the original tense used in the light novel? i don't want to break any rules or something. should i edit it into past tense? present tense seems like an ill fitting jigsaw puzzle piece.

by the way, what is the orginal tense that the author used in the light novels? the present tense seems like an ill-fitting jigsaw puzzle.

Sorry, but in chinese, there is no present or past tense... you might find that hard to understand... Not too sure about Japanese though... But I tend to stick to present tense in that case... So its my fault...
