Sagaru Yoshiharu, who's in second year in senior high school, is currently losing his head out of fear.

For an unkown reason, after he regained consciousness, he was standing in the middle of of the Warring States eriod's battlefield.

"Wait a moment, what's going on? Where is this?"

The sound of horses gallopping!

The sound of firearms echoing!

The sound of the exhausted foot soldiers holding tightly their pikes shouting with their voice hoarse!

No matter how you see it, this is the Warring States period.

The location is the Nōbi Plain, and he only knew that later.

"Oh~~how cool! There's even more drive than the movie 'Seven Samurai'!"

This wasn't the moment to be excited.

After seeing Sagaru, who was wearing a school uniform, appearing in the middle of the battlefield, both sides' infantry thought that he was a new enemy. Thus, they attempted one after another to thrust their pikes towards him.

"Wah! Ouch! C-Calm down. Wait a moment!"

Dodged left, right, east and west.

Sagaru was dodging the blades of the pikes charging at him while running way towards the forest on the hill.

In the dodgeball class, Sagaragot the title of "球よけのヨシ", for his top skills in dodging.

His height, weight and athletical abilities were all within the average, and only his dodging skills surpassed the normal people's from long ago.

Incidentally, even though he was good at dodging the balls flying at him, he wasn't capable enough to hit the opponent with the ball. Thus, he never made it in the dodgeball team.

"Itsuki, you can really dodge! I'll turn you into a brochette!"

"Didn't I tell you guys to wait a moment!"

Whoosh!

Whoosh!

Whoosh!

Five pikes charged towards Sagara at the same time!

"UWOOOOO?"

Holy Toledo, that's a lot of steps to get this project approved. I'll give this project a try if someone can jump start this. I've stated that I would attempt DxD and Campione last October and wasn't able to carry through (both projects have since lift off). The most I did was write detailed summaries for Mahouka. Maybe Oda is the series that I can finally start something on.

It's very rare that I react to an anime in an unexpected way, other than rejection, but here I am surprisingly loving this particular series. The characters are cute, but without the overkill fanservice, and the MC is entertaining, but not a joke himself. Sagara is amusing to watch but isn't a pathetic waste of space like many others in a similar situation to his (I'm looking at you Saito...), he isn't afraid to use his knowledge to his advantage, and uses it to its fullest. Extra points for the fact that this series doesn't baby you with a million pieces of backstory, or melodrama about every little thing, and you have my favourite anime this season. I actually found myself doing research and learning, all while happily rewatching each episode to enjoy it to its fullest. Considering that LN's are generally deeper and even better than adaptations, I, at least, would really look forward to a translation of the novels.

Of the light novels being adapted this cour (and there are A LOT of good ones including Campione, Hagure, SAO, Dakara etc), Oda Nobuna no Yabou has been the most faithful one.

Lets hope many people will vote on this.
But the comparison picture made me realise once again that the original figures are man....
Oh crap, I might imagine their faces while watching the anime.

I felt that it had potential, and it seems that this series is the surprise of the season.

I'm highly interested if it's translated.

If the anime is better than the low expectations it had, I'll surely translate it in French. I'll watch it this afternoon.

Sounds selfish, but I would like to read something on par with DxD.

The ecchi level is there no doubt, there is many character developments in the Light Novel and many battles.
Here is some ecchi photos, they are certainly the level of High School DXD. 17 and younger, please view at your own caution

Reaper, could you add this option, "Yes, I may want to translate this.", to the poll?

Have you read this to know that?
