Thanks for prompt replies. I appreciate the acceptance of me and my proposal. I expect for translators and editors to issue more Spice and Wolf episodes, and want to try to help them translate novels after I pass the exam.

By the way, I talked this problem to my 3 friends (of course, Japanese) today. And they said that "頭数" means "the number of people." However, including horses and goods and so on in may be better from the viewpoint of the age in this novels. I think the word "passengers" is better, too.

a belated welcome Shao!

Thank you for your help at Baka-Tsuki, i hope we can all improve our lingual skills here so that we can all better understand and enjoy all the great light novels here in any language.

:)

Didn't know where to put this, but I guess here works.

So I definitely found that on a Community subsection for "Spice and Wolf," on Mixi. :)

I'm working on putting a translation to it, but my Japanese isn't great yet, so there's only so much I can do...anyway, I'm already addicted to the song, 8)

It's got Horo's story in a 2 minute jingle that is just addicting.

(At school on a 10 minute break, and this is what I do with my time!??)

Yeah, actually, a b-t channel sounds really interesting.....

content though? perhaps the main video would be a slide show of pictures from the novels and the like, with perhaps some Haruhi music playing in the background. As for what else would be on the channel...what would be on it?

Just wondering, who will be in charge of it and for the production of the stuff if we do have one? ^^"

LOLz, i have neither the skills nor time for anything like that... but it seems that B-T is having a lot of extra things coming up... and the number of actual participants still rather limited... So it is worrying...

This is like the future projects forums, most of the threads there have a "Yes, i want to see this translated" conclusion, just that no1 implements it =X

that's beacause you're all lazy.. khmm.. I mean that's because there are not many free people that can casually spend their time translating etc ^_^

*no actual insult intended* Just in case ^_^

Lazy, perhaps? =X
I feel that time spent on translating is rather worthwhile. At least you improve on two languages at the same time. Just that it takes a while...

There are quite a number of free people that can casually spend their time translating etc, but whether they do, that is another question
=X

Personally, i still have a lot of manga+anime+games to catch up with lolz! Well, no matters!

Alternative language forums please?
The answer is probably yes. Unless it is licensed and released in Indonesian.

So, sorry to ask in this thread, but which SnS chapters have u translated? since you have not made any replies to my question in the SnS thread.
