Just to inform everyone that has been waiting, Chapter 6 of Volume 5 has finally been posted. I'm really sorry this took so long this time, which was partly due to the chapter's length and partly due to just plain old real life. Luckily, the next chapter's a bit shorter, so I'm going to try to get at least Chapter 7 out as well by the end of the month. I hope everyone will enjoy this chapter!

Tap, can you double check the text for me? At the same time, I want to know what part does the phrase ato sukoshi play in the sentence its in, as well as the difference between imawashiki and imawashii (忌まわしき and 忌まわしい).

Also, I've bought a Chinese copy of V1, not just to read but also for a special commentary at the back. Skimming through, it features some of the original character concepts I think Kawahara drew himself for Haruyuki, KYH, Takumu, and Chiyuri.

Some of the commentary is in text, the rest are together with illustrations. If I can get my skype working properly then I hope to work together with Neg/a/ Nebulas to complete the commentary properly. ((:

Haruyuki, who crushed the Legendary enemy guarding the {{Tokyo Midtown Tower}}, a vital location for the Acceleration Research Society.

With just a little more until the destruction of the abominable cursed enhanced armament, the {{ISS Kit}}, that was polluting this world... or so they thought, when the ARS members, Black Vise and Argon Array, appeared, kidnapping Niko, the red king, Scarlet Rain.

Having promised to protect Niko, Haruyuki received blessings from Archangel Metatron, who was released from her binds, and pursued Black Vise, successfully breaking into the {{Cloister Of Shadows}} right before it closed.
Having sworn her allegiance to Niko as well, Blood Leopard unleashed her hidden, true power as a {{red-type avatar}} in order to chase after Argon Array who escaped in another direction.

She joins forces with both Takumu and Chiyuri in a bid to defeat a formidable enemy, Argon Array.

On the other hand, in order to go to the real world and sever Niko's connection, Kuroyukihime, along with Fuuko, Utai, and Akira head towards the Midtown Tower portal.

And the one awaiting those four who managed to struggle their way to their desired floor was...

Are they finally getting close to settling things with the {{Acceleration Research Society}}——!?

I won't delete my PDF though, when it comes to that. I'll keep them in my blog instead. The US is pretty far away from my place, by the way.

So it actually happened...I didn't expect them to license it this soon. I've got mixed feelings about this, since on the one hand, I'm happy that we'll get the chance to read it in hardcopy with professional translations, but on the other hand, this basically puts to rest all the fan translations we've done up till now. Still, from what I've heard, the first volume won't come out till sometime in 2014, so I'll endeavor to at least finish Vol 5 long before then. (Unless someone high-up like Teh-Ping specifically tells me to stop, of course.) After that, well...I guess that will be it for me in this project. Gonna have to find another series to work on after this...

I'm still quite puzzled by their decision to license AW though, SAO's popularity is absurd so it would make sense to license it, but AW's popularity is nowhere near. I guess maybe they plan to bundle it together with SAO or to promote it as a "novel from SAO's author"...
