I don't want this to sound cheeky or horrible in anyway, as I totally respect the translators and the important role they play, but are we any closer to a translation or even a translator? With the new season of High School DxD nearing with every day as well as the last message being so long ago, I just wanted to check on the progress of the project.

@jammydodger29 This series is first translated at Cod-Zero's (the translator) blog (http://shincodezeroblog.wordpress.com/), and once each volume is finished, brought to B-T, then edited. Code-Zero had some RL issues that prevented him from translating for several months, so he's currently at 65% aprox of vol.18 life 2 done (updated yesterday). Volume 18 should probably get done before HSDxD BorN starts to air (not vol. 19, though), but it still isn't a problem, since the anime will most probably cover just two or three volumes.

In one of the afterword the author says that he want to give every heroine a happy end. I think that he hints that he will write the harem route.

Hey i have a question. Before Issei's "death" it was said he would barely live 100 years due to the Juggernaut drive. When he dies and comes back to life thanks to Ophis and Great Red, Is he still only able to live 100 years or is he now able to live a long life with his friends? Im just somewhat confused a little bit cause i dont want him to live 100 years. I feel it will take him 100 years to have sex with Rias. LOL

Nope, Azzazel explained it so, that thanks to Ohpis and Great Red Issei´s life span changes from zero to Infinity. He has to master his new power in order to gain a stable life span.

Vol 18 complete. Though in need of some TLC.

In Vol 18 when you go to the full text view/option i noticed the book suddenly stops in the right at the end of Next Life (chapter/section) is the rest gonna be added/ fixed? I was really looking forward to the build up to the next President of the ORC but had it spoiled as I read into the Afterword...kinda bummed about that

I suggest you to read it again. Somehow, they had forgotten to add the extra chapters (Fake Hero, Joker, Christmas, BossxBoss and Ashes to Ashes). I've just corrected it.

EDIT: They still need to add correct references instead of makeshift footnotes; I'll try to get it done.

I just noticed that the last chapter in volume 20 is named "last life"
Does that mean that the story ends at volume 20?

I'm more concerned that the chapter right before that is called "Hyoudou Issei".

However, since there have been many a false alarm and the latest entry in the author's blog, after lightly skimming through it, gives the impresion that, while we are nearing the end, it was not the end per se, I darfe say it will continue for at least a couple of volumes (I believe I understood from said post that LeFay is going to get her bit of spotlight soon).
