Koizumi said something about "going to the mountain in seach for a mythical creature"

I couldn't find the English term for that "mythical creature", English, Japanese and Chinese wikipedia all yielded nothing for me. Help me out here.

Thats like the japanese unicorn, except the it isn't. its not just a horse with a horn but a horse thats part tiger, and phoenix....
