Isn't it Mikazuki not Mikadzuki.

It's 三日月 (みかづき). The づ character can be romanized as "dzu". The reading for 月 can be tsuki or dzuki, つき/づき.
"zu" would be ず.

anyone has a rough guideline for reading this?
e.g how closely does the anime follow the novel? / what vol does season 2 of the anime ends at? Any help would be greatly appreciated.

1. Some short stories are removed in the first season of the anime, but it's still great. In the second season, the events are closely lined out, but you'll miss the details.

No, the question marks are placeholders for the screen name of Ouji, because he has not yet introduced himself at this point of the game. In western style games there would be four question marks typically, but i guess that in japanese games two placeholders (as in: 2 kanji) are sufficient.

I believe they described this as it being the end of the prologue with the ending of Volume 8. Suggesting things will change (drastically?) from now on? Well, we will have to see about that later part. Has volume 9 been released yet? Hell, has it actually gotten a new confirmed release date yet?
