Maybe you guys can put the 'alternate languages' link on the sidebar as well? Where the 'teaser' is, because I'm not sure whether everyone will go to the main page first. (since I'm using firefox, I will almost always end up on the 'recent changes' page first). Especially for Haruhi, since the English project is abandoned, people may get the misconception that the entire project is abandoned, like what FNX stated in the first post of this topic.

You have a good point, I was debating whether i should scrap the Alternative Language page, but maybe not!

I'll just add that link for our Firefox friends as FNX mention, yes all you have to do is tag all pages with the following format:

[category:language]

replace language with the English Word for your target language.

If you got time, please add additional pages to the corresponding alternative language index page, either add links for additional translation of the Wiki Guidelines or general things you think we should inform our international non-English reading friends.

Well i'll call it quits after this change, so have fun for all our B-T citizens who are behind us in the far East, unless you are in Australia, Korea, Japan or Hawaii.

Also, do note that some alternate language projects are pending authorisation. I know the TAMni Spanish is.

Not me...slept till 11am stupid alcohol.

Now i have to sleep because i have to wake at 8am and get out the home for 10am to meet some important people for some causal networking.

If only they were beautiful attractive women ,it won't be so bad! but hey, maybe one of them would invite one of their daughters... i hope so! :]

Anyway, can't do anything serious with the authorisation ,so...i'll leave it pending for now! :p

you mean adding a category to a project page? you add [[category|xxxxx]] and it will show up on the xxxxx category page.

You don't need to write anything in the Category:Vietnamese page (except [[Category: Alternative Languages]] and the sentence: here are the projects etc.).
Just add [[Category:Vietnamese]] on the main page of each Vietnamese project and it will be automatically added (as you already created the page).

(and add [[Category: Alternative Languages]] too, when it's not already there).
I did it for the first project so you can see how it works (but I am too lazy to do the rest^^).

Esperanto =/= Spanish.



Understandable as Esperanto is based on the Romantic language group, so it visually seems the same!

But still made me lol.

Yeah had a BBQ on a remote island, then had a little nap, woke up and it was 10pm-ish! Doh!

But managed to delete a lot of pending projects that been hanging on by a thread. So yay for deletions! :p

Well, i had to take a 20min boat ride from the East of the Hong Kong peninsula in the north New Territories to get to this little island.

I think that's pretty remote to me!

To get back on topic, just released i have to translate all the English names on the front page into the native ones......dammn.

I need someone to help me pull a list up on here so i can copy paste!

Well, managed to translate Italian to Italiano.

I like how just putting an "o" on the end makes it Italian. I wish it was all this easy.

Just one unrelated question (i guess), I was checking the projects to see if something was missing from the Spanish category but sometimes when I click a link to a project some projects disappear, like when I click the Infinite Stratos link in the side bar appears Dokuro-chan project, but if I enter another link its gone, maybe someone knows why and if its an error fix it
