im pretty sure you are speaking of the anime and the anime hasn't even started yet so thats just putting the cart before the horse way too much. i havent checked if its 13 eps yet but i do agree its a shame that it will be limited but its not like its doomed to fail because of less episodes. maybe a godsend will direct this serie and do it justice.

Whatever the number of episodes, the art is looking awesome...

So yeah just finished watching the first episode and while the art is awesome I'm a little disappointed and worried. They skipped almost all of Volume 1 which I can sort of understand because it was a bit on the slow side... what scares me though is that there are quite a few slow points in the LN but they are necessary. So will they skip all of those as well? Adding on to that fear is the fact they are showing all the Vanadis in the OP and Olga doesn't even show up till volume 6... and from what I heard (don't know if it's true or not) the anime is only going to be 13 episodes long... how much are they going to have to skip to get there that fast? Another thing I'm kinda iffy about is the characters themselves, especially Ellen. I have always imagined her to have an energetic and slightly mischievous personality... but in the anime it felt like they were trying to hard. Maybe it's just because it's the first episode? Also what does Madan no Ou translate too? The sub group has it as Lord Marksman and Vanadis... but doesn't Madan mean Magic Bullet? At least that's how I've seen and heard it translated in many different things including this. And that is why I always believed that the translation in the volume 1 epilogue was correct or at least close [King of the Magic Bullet]...

Anyway rant over :P

I'll be plain honest, compared to the LN, I found the anime just ****. I mean they rushed the story, the voice actor for Tigre sounded so emotionless, they skipped so many parts that develops Tigre's connections to the others. All in all, the anime doesn't do the story justice.

Jeez you guys, its only been 1 episode... i do agree they glossed over alot but at the same time they kinda fit all the important parts in cuz i believe they want to get more time for the coming stuff. all in all wait until its close to its end atleast before passing judgment.

There is no seiyuu attached to voice Olga actually, so the story probably won't reach there.

24th october for vol 10 if i remember right, and abit off topic or maybe not but having watched ep 2 i seriously think they have done a great job so far, they have gotten the most important parts and skipped out on the minor details that hardly do anything except for some juicy fan service and abit of character growth which for Tigre happens the most later on so aslong as they dont rush forward too much in the coming war and all i feel this will be really good =)
