No money to get anywhere far away, so I spent my weekend with my friends in the back garden of my city. In maybe less than 50 years or so, there is a good chance that the area will be turned into a concrete jungle like everywhere else in the region

Likewise, I went to a state park for a backpacking and camping trip with some friends this past Tuesday and Wednesday.

California is like 400 times bigger than my tiny city. On top of that my city is only famous for pollution, skyscrappers and a falling banking industry. I am sure there are much better and more exotic places in California. You just have to look around hard enough,

That eel thing is a mudskipper. In the photo next to it there are hundreds of them in the mudflat. They are constantly jumping and you can see one of them trying to jump.

As for the boat, I am sure it would sink in less than 10 seconds if anyone tried to jump onto it. It was filled with water after all.

A) Yeah, there are trails to hike and whatnot, but I'm more of a swamp area person, and California doesn't have that. The trails around me are boring. Especially living close to Los Angeles, I could go do a lot of stuff but not much nature-esque things.

B) I need to get a mudskipper now. How much would shipping cost?

C) What does it matter? When I lived in Florida, I used to bike in 3 foot deep water with alligators around. Trying out things is what makes life fun.

I decided to go hiking (sadly, my mom went with me) at Placerita Canyon, it's pretty big

There is a waterfall at the end of the hike, apparently, yet, my mom wanted to turn around (why I regretted taking her). It's only about 5 miles to the waterfall, I went about 2.5 into it then turned around. When I reach the end one day, I'll put it up here.

What in the world makes you think I live near that? (That's in Canada).
It takes me 15 minutes to get to where I was hiking from home.

I go on a 'mount' every day or so.

He gets arrested by the RCMP every few days for being kira, and he is forced to ride a mounted horse blindfolded and bound into the middle of nowhere, only to have them drop him off there in said state.
