The Zashiki Warashi of Intellectual Village
I'm not really sure where I should post this, so I'll post it here.
I've translated the first few sections of Kamachi's new novel The Zashiki Warashi of Intellectual Village here: http://www.baka-tsuki.org/project/index ... al_Village
From what I've read so far, I'm enjoying Kamachi's take on the Japanese Youkai.

Re: The Zashiki Warashi of Intellectual Village
Thank you for your godly translation work on Kamachi Kazuma LNs
This serie is definitely very interesting: traditional youkai adapting to rural Japan futuristic environment, really something exciting
I would expect it to get a good slice of the public interested in To Aru Majutsu no Index; after all, it has some similar tones, barring the rule-breaking powers .

I like where this is going as well. The interaction between the Youkai and Shinobu is pretty funny and I look forward to see how that relationship progresses. It seems she has adapted pretty well to this Futuristic age Japan as well. To Shinobu's dismay of course.

That was a really good first chapter, I enjoyed it thoroughly. Thank you Js06 for translating Kamachi Kazuma works, it's one of my favorite authors and it's a pleasure to see his books getting translated into English.

Thank you for working on this. I am a fan of the To Aru series, both anime and light novel, and enjoy the guy's writing style. I hope to see more of this volume translated soon.

Re: The Zashiki Warashi of Intellectual Village
Was a really interesting read. Was kinda disconcerting having the MC change in C2 which made me think something was wrong for awhile. It seems like maybe the first volume is gonna be an introduction of different MCs that are interconnected with each other in some way.

Re: The Zashiki Warashi of Intellectual Village
this volume reminds me of level e. like level e they gives us an awesome cast of character(chapter 1 in z.w.o.i.v. and episode 1-2 in level e) just to take them of in the next episode or chapter. if this continue to happen at least make it interesting as index or just stick with Jinnai Shinobu as the mc but overall disregarding that it has different mc in chapter 1 and 2 this is worth the read with a nice if not magnificent storyline.

Re: The Zashiki Warashi of Intellectual Village: General
Quite an interesting story. Despite the different MCs for the first 3 chapters, the final chapter did a good job of bringing everything together. Thanks for the translation! I hope you can grace us with a translation of volume 2 eventually as well.
