Shinrei Tantei Yakumo: General

I would love it if Baka_Tsuki considered picking up this novel called -- "Shinrei Tantei Yakumo", it looks very good and interesting, the manga version of the original novel was very good, however, the manga only covered the first volume of the novel. I hope this group will consider translating this. Here's more info ---

Summary ------ Shinrei tantei yakumo aka psychic detective yakumo tells a story about a college student, Saitou Yakumo who born with different eye colors. His red left eye gave him a special ability to see ghosts and spirits. He believes ghosts and spirits are bound to earth because of a certain 'cause' and simply by eliminating that 'cause' will those spirits rest in peace. Being asked for help by Ozawa Haruka, together they began the investigation.

oh I read this one. yeah the manga was pretty decent.

This would actually be worth reading. I've been craving more of this particular title since reading the manga versions, and hopefully translators would find this fun enough to translate.

Honestly, I'm only looking forward to this, Ghost Hunt, and Shounen Onmyouji. So far.

Seems interesting, read some of the manga wasn't totally convinced but then again I don't think mangas do as good as the novels but it looks like a good novel so I hope it gets translated

Shinrei Tantei Yakumo totally won me over and I just keep comong back for more... only that there isn't much translations for this awesome read. Check it out if you haven't (the manga and the on-going anime)

Good idea. The series isnt already licensed and you have also already more than one chapter translated right? So you or someone else could/should prepare the aproval, because often the aproval is given as is, once the necessary pages are already created (Project page, registration page).

You know how to work in a wiki? If not I am sure here can be found some who are willing to help you with that, so that the project can get started.

and I don't really know much about Wiki or the approval. But I have translated more than 1 chapter

Do you have already the aproval for this project? If not we could it also start as a teaser project for now. Teaser projects have fewer prerequisites as a full project, but can easiliy be upgraded. Working with a wiki is not too complicated, but you would need also an account there. If you like I or even someone else could create the project page for this project (my version would be more like a template, which has to be filled with informations) or if you want to try it yourself, you could do it also yourself.

Also if you have questions you can just ask.
