I made a couple of edits in vol.3 Round 1 - corrected the name usage, e.g. Yuuri-san instead of Yanagi-san etc.
Please check it to make sure everything's correct.

Checked them and you were spot-on with all of them. Thanks for correcting. :D

Volume 4 - Chapter 1
《why do you know?》

I guess "how" would be more natural than "why", dont you think?

btw, words written by Yuuri arent in capital and sentences dont have marks. Is it author's intention or yours?

Won't comment on "how" or "why". Not a lot. Sounds good to me, so do it :P.

And yes, it's intentionally in lower case. I think, in the original she only uses Hiragana, I think (don't hit me if I'm wrong, got no RAWs to check). The reasoning probably went along the lines of "no Kanji in Jap => 'dumbed down' => no caps/etc in Eng".

A question about Nana Yanagi's story (Vol.3, Round 2)
Spoiler! :
Because of Touji's wish, she dyed her fair hair black, she started wearing a normal-length skirt and she buried her cigarettes in the garden.
In short, what is said here is that she became "normal". Then what about her hair? Shouldn't it be the other way round? I mean, she dyed her hair blond previously and now she returned it to natural black? That would be more logical, I think...
Could you please check if your translation here is correct?

Ah, you're right. There was no mention of what's her original hair color, but considering she's Japanese, it's safe to assume it's black.

Round 2 again
Spoiler! :
And then I was pierced by an invisible blade.
Since Deathblow kills by beheading, I think "pierced" isn't the best choice here. It'd be, I don' know, "slashed", or "cleaved", or something like that.

What do you think?

Volume 4 - Chapter 1
"You shall become nourishment for the real Yuuri-san."

I don't really understand what "nourishment" means. Is it something like "sacrifice"?

Yes, you're right. "slashed" sounds fine to me. I'll change it on occasion.

I knew someone would ask that. It's a poor translation of mine because I couldn't come up with something better. But yes, it is something like a sacrifice.

Round 3
Spoiler! :
I only have time until that asshole Kamiuchi arrives here, so it won't be long. Tch, too bad he's going to live.
The last sentense seems strange. How did Iroha know that Kamiuchi "is going to live"? The only class she knew was her own.
Maybe it should be written like this, "too bad if he's going to live"?

Upd. Ah, got it.
Spoiler! :
Since she is the Sorcerer, no other player is her enemy, so the last one will live anyway.

You're right, literally, nourishment is food-related. But in a more metaphorical way, it works out. Just think of the images behind becoming a sacrifice and becoming food for the development of someone in a certain direction...

Vol.3, Author's notes
If you wish, I'll write a BL at your duty post!
I don't get what does it mean...

To be honest, I don't fully understand that sentence either. But I assume it means something along the lines of "I'll write some BL stuff under your editing", or simply put: "I'll write some BL stuff for you".
[edit]
Ah, I think I got it! Google told me that Kawamoto has changed his post and apparently works in a BL-department now. So it means "I'll write some BL stuff for you at your new post if you wish".

Ah, and I have bad news for you. Eiji Mikage, the author of Utsuro no Hako to Zero no Maria, has started a new light novel that will be published in July. Its title and plot summary both sound pretty... well, read for yourself, and chances are that Hakomari has been discontinued, though nothing is set in stone yet. But at the least, it's safe to assume that his writing pace is going to drop even more.

Let me report the situation. I got on all fours and was used as a seat by an elementary schoolgirl. I had my bottom slapped by her. What the hell is this? Why have I become the horse of a girl child? Yeah, wait for the follow-up report.

I'm probably going to read it anyway, but I have absolutely no expectations. Fortunately, there are still three older lns by him I haven't read...
