ack, can't type Jpn on this PC, but something like:
She walked along the "road used for commuting to school". so school zone won't really fit, unless my understanding of school zone is wrong. actually I loosely translated the chapter title in volume 3 which uses the same word as well.
route to and from school
go through a school zone
After a series of crimes targeting children, safety on the way to school is another big concern. 全文表示
take the safest way to and from school
I've taken this same trip back and forth from school for four years.

Cosmic Eagle wrote:School zone is actually a road in most cases....I should know...driving tonners through them with instructors rambling away next to you tends to do that
But if you want an alternative...road to school?
Do you know what's worth fighting for?
When it's not worth dying for?
Does it take your breath away
And you feel yourself suffocating?
'School Zone' is an area where you need to drive slowly and pay attention to the students, normally. It applies to an 'area' and not really 'routes'.
larethian wrote:I think "school road" with a translation note is the best choice now. "school route" and "school zone" seems to much more ambiguous.
anyway, that aside, what is a "プレイルーム"? In the context, it's a room next to the AV room and the music room on the sixth floor of a high school, so I don't think it's a playground of any sort. thanks again in advance.
