Mobile Suit Gundam Unicorn (機動戦士ガンダムUC(ユニコーン), Kidō Senshi Gandamu Yunikōn?) is a novel written by Japanese author Harutoshi Fukui and serialized in Kadokawa Shoten. There are 10 volumes in this series, and 5 OVAs have been released.

==Story Synopsis==

The series begins in U.C. 0001, at the very beginning of human space colonization, when a space colony called Laplace is destroyed during a ceremony hosted by the Federation's Prime Minister ushering in the Universal Century dating system. The main story takes place in UC 0096.

The story revolves around Banagher Links, a seemingly normal boy living and going to school in the space colonies. His life changes one day when he meets a girl named Audrey Burne, as the encounter brings him into contact with a new Gundam and its connections to an item called "Laplace's Box."

It seems like High school DXD tanslations are incomplete in some earlier chapters. In volume 4 it said Akuma was in charge...however,I have no idea how to pm him about it as he said in his user page lol ~Sidra

you need to have a line spacing for each line. you can check how the other translations are done.

In terms of pernouciation "Aashia" may sound right. However her name is based on are real actress, "Asia Argento".

== Japanese Terminology? ==

Somehow,I hope you'll allow for some terminology to be in to english. It's kinda difficult to read if one wasn't versed in
Japanese. Especially stuff like 'oppai' and 'bishoujo', which do not have any connotations and sounds wierd in the sentences(e.g 'grope oppai' just sounds disjointed). I'd understand for Maou, Senpai, Kouhai, lolicon and endings though.

The word "Oppai" is one of the theme of this series so I want to leave it as it is since there will be lots of terminology relating to it appearing afterwords.

Edited the topic title to ask how should we go about the names of the characters. Now that we have more translators on the move, naming issues are bound to come around. I found a couple of them and wanted to know if we should just leave them as the translator for the respective volume suggests or if we should stick with the naming given by you, the project administrator. Yeah, that's right. We keep the original Japanese name for the characters. So we also use -san, -chan, and -sama suffix is well. So just like you said it's Hyodou Issei but his nickname is Ise and everyone in the club calls him that.

I really think we should create a Project-Specific Guidelines: Format, Names, and Terminology (similar to the one Toaru no majustsu has)for this project soon. More characters are being introduced as it is being translated so we should have a consensus on the names of the other characters besides the main cast. Looking back at the idea, it might be a better idea to create the character/terminology guidelines on a separate page other than the bottom of the character introduction. For now its alright since only 3 volumes are translated, but we may have to do it later. I'll do it for you now so we save the trouble. What do you think? Also, is it alright if I change "Isei Hyodo" to "Issei Hyodou" on the character introduction page, since most of the translations use that? I finished creating the page, btw I'm switching the positions of Issei Hyōdō (兵藤一誠, Hyoudou Issei) into Hyoudou Issei(兵藤一誠, Issei Hyōdō) throughout the character introduction and name/terminology guidelines page. That includes Koneko and Shidou. I was checking the Names and Terminology Guidelines and noticed it says Sirzechs' queen is named Grayfia, is it a minor typo or do we have to go back to the first volumes and change the name? Oh yes. The anime ED spelled her name as "Grayfia". Also Reyville was wrong is well so it's "Ravel", again from anime ED.

Since you are the project head, I might as well tell you because I don't know who is doing vol. 10. Please redirect this message to the translator.
In the aforementioned chapter, there is a sentence that is a bit weird. Let me quote it out:

[And I promise you all! I will show you the future which shines in True-Red light!]

The part with the 'True-Red' is probably inaccurate. The original text should be something like [真赤], which simply means crimson/red, and not 'True-Red'.
I'm not a native speaker and I'm still learning, so I may be the one who is wrong. That' why I would like to clarify this with you guys.-- A fan
