==Story Synopsis==

There was an urban legend that there was a legendary, undefeated gamer called 『　　』, but in reality he was just a NEET brother and sister called 空 (Sora) and 白 (Shiro). These hikikomori siblings who both refer to the real world as a worthless "Kuso Game" are one day summoned to a different world by a boy calling himself "God". In this world, war is prohibited by God and everything is instead decided by a game...that's right, even country borders. Can the two NEET brother and sister save the last of the human race <Imanity>, which only has one city left?

The light-novel series '''Log Horizon''' (ログ・ホライズン, romanji "Rogu Horaizun") is written by Mamare Touno, illustrated by Kazuhiro Hara and published by Enterbrain. It was initially posted on the user-generated content site Shōsetsuka ni Narō in 2010 and subsequently published by Enterbrain since March 2011. The series follows the strategist Shiroe and the other players of the long-lived MMORPG Elder Tale after they find themselves whisked away into the game world following a game update. Log Horizon is an ongoing serial with seven light online novel releases. The online versions serve as the source for commercial adaptations of commercially printed light novels, a manga series, and an anime adaptation airing on NHK Educational TV starting on October 5, 2013. The author also wrote the [[Maoyuu_Maou_Yuusha|Maoyuu Maou Yuusha]] series before this series.

==Story Synopsis==
By its eleventh expansion pack, the massively multiplayer online role-playing game (MMORPG) Elder Tale (エルダー・テイル Erudā Teiru) has become a global success, having a following of millions of players. However, during the release of its twelfth expansion pack: Novasphere Pioneers (ノウアスフィアの開墾 Nōasufia no Kaikon), thirty thousand Japanese gamers who are all logged on at the time of the update, suddenly find themselves transported inside the game world and donning their in-game avatars. In the midst of the event, a socially awkward gamer called Shiroe along with his friends Naotsugu and Akatsuki decide to team up so that they may face this world which has now become their reality along with the challenges which lie ahead.

I understand that wish, but the problem is that sometimes when you keep the original LN meanings, they are completely meaningless in English or confuse the reader. It is my view that the LN should be preserved in most cases, but if it doesn't make sense in English, it should be looked at at least. For example, "The night scene from the east gave the sky a purplish glow". What is a night scene? Is it some kind of background card for a play? Lol. But I do understand your wish to preserve the LN. ^_^ I'll hold off on editing anything else until my work is TLC'ed. I'd like to see what stays and what gets eliminated to better understand how I should edit the LN. THanks.

I understand that wish, but the problem is that sometimes when you keep the original LN meanings, they are completely meaningless in English or confuse the reader. It is my view that the LN should be preserved in most cases, but if it doesn't make sense in English, it should be looked at at least. For example, "The night scene from the east gave the sky a purplish glow". What is a night scene? Is it some kind of background card for a play? Lol. But I do understand your wish to preserve the LN. ^_^ I'll hold off on editing anything else until my work is TLC'ed. I'd like to see what stays and what gets eliminated to better understand how I should edit the LN. THanks.
