==Story Synopsis==

The romantic comedy story revolves around an antisocial high school student named Hachiman Hikigaya with a distorted view on life and no friends or girlfriend. When he see his classmates talking excitedly about living their adolescent lives, he mutters, "They're a bunch of liars." When he is asked about his future dreams, he responds, "Not working." A teacher gets Hachiman to join the volunteer "service club," which happens to have the school's prettiest girl, Yukino Yukinoshita.

==Story Synopsis==

Ini adalah cerita tenang permisalan.

Misalkan, jika hidup ini seperti permainan dimana kita bisa sekali saja kembali ke pilihan save point di masa lalu, apakah hidup ini akan berubah?

Jabawannya adalah Tidak.

Karena hal semacam itu hanyalah mungkin didapatkan oleh mereka yang memiliki pilihan dalam hidupnya. Tetapi untuk mereka yang sejak awal tidak memiliki pilihan hal semacam itu tidak ada artinya sama sekali.

oleh karena itu tidak ada penyesalan. bisa dikatakan bahwa semua tentang hidup itu adalah sebuah kesulitan.

Lagipula, sudah terlambat untuk membicarakan ini semua. Membicarakan tentang permisalan tak akan ada ujungnya, sekalipun di bicarakan tidak ada yang akan berubah. dan mustahil untuk kembali ke pilihan yang sudah dipilih.

karena skenario kehidupan itu satu arah. maka sia-sia saja membicarakan permisalan.

Peperangan, Kemiskinan atau Diskirminasi banyak hal yang memberikan rasa berdosa. misalnya seperti tidak mengambil tawaran pekerjaan saat sedang mencari pekerjaan, dan ini cukup umum untuk mereka yang bekerja part time, jumlah uang di dompet mereka akan menipis seiring memucatnya warna perut mereka .

didunia ini, dimanakah sesuatu yang bernama kebenaran berada? di dunia yang salah ini, kebenaran itu tidak bisa dikatakan kebenaran lagi. oleh karena itu, kesalahan itu sendiri adalah kebenaran. Tidak ada artinya untuk kehilangan sesuatu untuk bertahan hidup, karena semuanya akan hilang suatu saat nanti. ini adalah hakekat yang sebenarnya.

tapi meskipun begitu, karena suatu hal bisa hilanglah, hal itu menjadi indah. karena suatu hal bisa berakhirlah, hal itu mempunyai arti.

Stagnasi atau halangan, dengan kata lain tempat beristirahat. Berpura-pura tidak tahu dan ketundukan itu bukanlah hal yang baik. Kau harus selalu menyadari bahwa kerugian, kehilangan akan selalu ada.
suatu saat sekali-kali kita akan perlahan melihat kembali pada apa yang telah hilang dengan rindu dan kasih bagaikan harta berharga. Bagaikan kebahagian seorang yang perlahan-lahan memiringkan cangkir sake, kebahagian yang sendiri dan tertutup.

Ini adalah Pagi Hari yang tidak menyenangkan.

Terdengan bunyi tak-tak dari angin dingin yang menggoyang-goyang jendela, cuaca hari ini baik dan sangat cerah. udara hangat didalam kamar yang mengundang kantuk.

Ini adalah pagi yang cukup tidak menyenangkan.

Hari Senin aku kembali dari wisata sekolah, dengan bermalas-malasan aku memaksa tubuh yang gak karuan ini untuk pergi ke kamar kecil.

Terlihat dibayangan cermin, mata yang masih setengah tidur. Dia yang berada di sana adalah wajah yang sangat kukenali keberadaanya .... Yup, Seperti biasa, Cukup untuk antiklimak, benar-benar seperti biasa, tidak ada bedanya sedikitpun.

Tidak mempunyai motivasi pergi kesekolah, selalu ingin tidak melakukan apa-apa, dan sebelum keluar rumahpun sudah merasakan home sick, semuanya adalah diriku yang biasanya.

hanya saja air yang kugunakan untuk membasuh mukaku ini terasa sedikit lebih dingin daripada biasanya.
Musim gugur sudah berlalu, bisa dikatakan bulan ini sudah masuk musim salju, hanya tinggal satu bulan lagi kita akan meninggalkan tahun.

kedua orang tuaku sudah berangkat terlebih dahulu untuk menghindari jam sibuk. Untuk musim yang akan datang, jika berangkat kerja pada saat-saat terakhir atau sedikit terlambat maka bisa dipastikan akan sangat ramai sekali.
Seperti yang kuduga bahwa manusia, sekalipun orang dewasa akan terlihat lemah pada pagi hari dimusim salju.
siapapun juga akan ingin tetap berada di dalam kasur dan bermalas-malasan hingga detik-detik terakhir.

Akan tetapi meskipun begitu, mereka mempunyai alasan untuk tetap pergi ke kantor. Dan adapula orang-orang yang tetap aktif apapun alasannya/halangannya (ProAktif)

Akan tetapi, karena itu adalah permintaan dari masyarakat, mereka pun ikut melakukannya, agar tidak terlempar keluar dari alirannya, pasti akan ada alasan yang bisa digunakan untuk memperbudak seseorang. Manusia Bergerak untuk mendapatkan sesuatu, dan, untuk tidak kehilangan sesuatu.

Didalam cermin terpantul wajah yang cukup di atas rata-rata dan sederhana. dan juga terlihat mata yang kusam dan busuk dengan level ultra high school yang tidak biasa. Oleh karena itu inilah aku, oleh karena itu inilah hikigaya hachiman. Setelah puas dengan diriku yang tidak berubah sedikitpun dari masalalu itu aku pergi ke kamar mandi.

Ketika masuk ke ruang tengah, terlihat sosok adikku komachi sedang berdiri di dapur di depan pemanas teko elektrik dengan postur/sikap yang mengesankan. Mungkin karena orang tua ku sudah sarapan lebih dulu, menu sarapan hari ini sudah habis. dan jika komachi memberikan aku secangkir teh maka aku pun siap berangkat.

ketika aku menarik kursi, komachi yang sedang menuangkan air panas kedalam teko teh tiba-tiba melihat ke belakang.

"Oh, Kakak Selamat Pagi"

"Oo, Selamat Pagi"

Setelah aku membalas salam nya, kemudian komachi pun terlihat sedikit terkesan dan berkata.

"... Hmmm Keliatanya hari ini matanya sudah benar-benar bangun ya"

Dikatakan seperti itu aku memiringkan kepalaku, apakah setiap hari aku itu selalu lemah dipagi hari? Enggak, Gaperlu di pikirkan pun aku itu lemah dipagi hari. bukan saja karena tekanan darah yang rendah tapi juga karena ga ada motivasi sedikitpun. Jadi apa yang dikatan komachi tidak salah. aku benar-benar bangun pagi hari ini.

"... Oh,.. itu karena aku mencuci muka dengan air dingin"

karena apa yang dikatakannya tepat, komachi terlihat heran dengan suasana ini dan melihat padaku.

"Humn... menurut komachi sih airnya ga ada bedanya dengan yang biasa"

"Tapi menurutku hari ini terasa tiba-tiba menjadi lebih dingin, daripada itu cepat habiskan makanannya dan ayo berangkat kesekolah"

"a.. Un"

Komachi datang dengan membawa secangkir teh, terdengar suara tap-tap dari sandalnya. Sepertinya dirumahku ini tidak memilih "ayataka(merek teh botol)" melainkan teh yang ada dalam teko.

duduk dikursi, dengan menyatukan tangan, kami berdua mengucapkan "selamat makan" dengan suara kecil.

pada musim dingin di rumah hikigaya, makanan yang hangat atau sup dari daging ikan mentah dan sayuran yang diberi cuka sering muncul dalam menu sarapan.

bisa dibilang dengan memakan sup itu akan menghangatkan tubuh sebelum keluar rumah, aku benar-benar bisa merasakan rasa cinta dari ibuku.

karena tidak tahan panas akupun meniup-niup sup rasa daging ikan mentah yang diberi cuka untuk mendinginkannya, dihadapanku komachi pun melakukan hal yang sama, dan mata kita bertemu.

Komachi meletakan mangkok supnya, dan tiba-tiba berkata.

"... Kak"

"Apa?"

Setelah respon pendek ini, garis mata komachi terlihat gelisah ingin menanyakan sesuatu.

"Kak, Apa ada sesuatu yang terjadi?"

"Ga ada... Lagipula, Sebaliknya hidupku selama ini berlalu begitu saja tanpa terjadi apapun. "Ningen Benji Saiougauma"(Check Google), jika di pikir-pikir dengan terjadinya sesuatu mungkin akan membuat sesuatu lebih baik. Misalnya Seseorang yang memiliki penyakit kronis lalu pergi ke rumah sakit dan kembali dalam keadaan sehat. Karena itu jika dilihat dari segi paradox tidak terjadi apa-apa itulah yang bisa dikatakan penuh drama"

Setelah mengatakan semua itu, Mata komachi berkedip-kedip karena terkejut.

"Apa kakak baik-baik saja?"

Tak Terpengaruh, Sama sekali tidak terpengaruh.

Bena-benar ga terpengaruh kata-kataku sedikitpun, Iya sih emang bukan sesuatu yang penting tapi paling engga berikan sedikit reaksi atau apa gitu, padahal buat yang tadi aku sudah memikirkan banyak hal....

Apakah karena ini hari senin? makanya dia sulit menangkap kata-kata ku.

"Engga,... Pokoknya sih, Ga ada apa-apa"

Akupun memakan telur mata sapi dengan sumpitku, telur mata sapi itu sebenarnya makanan jepang atau barat ya?
Mendengar jawabanku, komachi pun terdiam dan perlahan menggeser mangkok supnya, lalu mencondongkan badannya dan menatap wajahku.

"Kak, Apa kau tau?"

"Apanya? Mameshiba(Check Google)?"

ataukah tentang kucing dalam kotak? karena adiku ini tipe gadis dalam kotak juga.Tapi, mungkin juga Monster makanan berbentuk anak anjing, kita berdua kebetulan sedang makan. Mungkinkah, panda dengan badan besar itu? tapi komachi bukan panda maniak. Adiku yang sedang mencondongkan badanya ke arahku secara natural akan memperlihatkan isi dadanya.

Jadi, Yup lebih baik aku ga tau.

Postur adikku saat ini sangatlah menggemaskan.

Setelah puas menelitiku, komachi pun menghela nafas.

"Kakak itu memang biasanya mengatakan hal-hal bodoh, tapi pas lagi ga enak badan kakak itu makin sering mengatakan hal-hal bodoh"

"Oh... Begitu..."

Seperti biasa penilainya itu menyakitkan, Tapi karena yang dikatakan adiku ini ada benarnya aku pun tak bisa bicara apa-apa. tetapi bisa menganalisaku secara detail hanya dari kata-kata saja adiku ini seorang penyidik psikologis? Metode pengarsiapan macam apa itu?

"Oh ya ka..."

Komachi terlihat ragu-ragu dengan yang ingin dia katakan, sembari menusuk-nusuk salad dengan sumpit dan memainkan tomat chery ditangannya.entah kenapa aku bisa memprediksi kata-kata yang sudah berada di ujung lidahnya, karena kita ini saudara? ataukah karena kita sedang memikirknya hal yang sama.

lalu, komachi perlahan meletakan sumpitnya dan menatap kearahku.

"Apa ini ada kaitanya dengan... yui-san dan yukino-san?"

sambil mendengarkan komachi, aku terus melanjutkan sarapan pagiku. bicara sambil makan itu tidak sopan, perlahan aku menelan sarapanku. bersamaan dengan sup rasa daging ikan mentah yang diberi cuka tertelan juga banyak perasaan dihati ini.

".... Apa mereka berdua mengatakan sesuatu sama kamu?"

"... Ga"

Komachi perlahan menggelengkan kepalanya.

"Mereka berdua itu bukan orang yang akan membicarakan hal seperti itu begitu saja, kakak juga pasti tahu kan?"

mendengar komachi berkata seperti itu aku pun tak punya kata-kata untuk membantahnya.

Yukinoshita ataupun Yuigahama, mereka itu memang sering mengatakan hal-hal yang aneh dan sepele tetapi mereka itu bukanlah tipe orang yang akan tiba-tiba curhat dengan adik orang lain.

"Ini Cuma... Komachi punya perasaan seperti itu"

Setelah mengatakan itu komachi sekilas melirik ke arahku untuk melihat reaksiku. Karena kita berdua selalu tinggal bersama, pasti akan ada hal-hal yang disadarinya sekalipun diinginkan ataupun tidak.

"Oh.. Iya"

Setelah Percakapan yang tidak begitu penting ini aku melihat kearah jarum jam dinding yang berdetak perlahan dan melanjutkan sarapan pagiku. tetapi komachi tetap melihatku dengan tenang dan memperhatikan gerak gerikku.

"Sambil makan juga ga apa-apa kok, Oh iya ngomong-ngomong"

Sepertinya komachi masih terus ingin melanjutkan topik ini, dia terlihat sangat ingin mengetahui permasalahannya. Pandanganku melayang pada 2 hari yang lalu dan teringat suatu hal.

"Kalo ga salah, Hal seperti ini Sebelumnya pernah terjadikan?"

"Hal seperti ini?"

Ingatan ku semakin terlihat jelas, yang komachi ingin katakan mungkin adalah kejadian sekitar bulan juli lalu. kalau di pikir-pikir hal seperti ini memang pernah terjadi dan aku tidak berubah sedikitpun sejak saat itu, aku gitu loh.

Tak ada peningkatan ataupun perubahan sedikitpun.

Komachi memegang cangkir tehnya dengan erat untuk menghangatkan tangannya Terlihat sebatang daun teh melayang tegak dipermukaannya.

".... Tapi, Yang waktu itu agak sedikit berbeda"

"Itu sudah pasti, Manusia itu akan selalu berubah setiap hari misalnya dalam waktu 5 atau 7 tahun saja sel-sel dalam tubuh manusia akan berubah bukan? Oleh karena itu manusia adalah-"

"Iya Iya"

Terlihat lelah dengan apa yang ku katakan komachi tertawa ringan, lalu komachi melepaskan tangannya dari cangkir teh dan meletakannya di lutut.

"... Jadi, apa yang sudah kakak lakukan?"

"Jangan menyalahkan semuanya padaku"

Meskipun aku berkata seperti itu, Komachi hanya diam dan terus menatap mataku. jika diperlakukan seperti ini yang keluar dari pikiran hanya hal-hal buruk saja. karena otakku Bergerak kasar seperti ini, otomatis aku mengalihkan pandangan mataku.

"... Ga ada apa-apa, Sejak awal juga memang ga ada apa-apa"

Komachi pun menghela nafas panjang.

"Sekalipun mungkin kakak itu ga bersalah, tapi ada kemungkinan kalau kakak itu memang sudah melakukan sesuatu, ga ada cara lain... ayo kita bicarakan hal ini satu persatu"

"Meskipun kau bicara seperti itu...."

Aku selalu memikirkan kejadian itu sejak kembali dari kyoto meskipun beberapa hari telah berlalu, benar aku memikirkannya. apakah ada kesalahan yang dibuat? apakah masih ada masalah yang tersisa? aku terus memikirkan kejadian itu.

Tapi, jalan keluar yang kupilih itu adalah jalan keluar terbaik dan paling efektif. tidak ada pilihan dengan kemungkinan berhasil dan aman ditambah lagi dengan waktu yang sangat terbatas dan sedikitnya pilihan yang ada. Ku pikir hasil seperti ini bisa dikatakan cukup baik.

Berhasil terhindar dari kemungkinan terburuk, Berhasil menyelesaikan satu "permintaan", meskipun prosesnya belum bisa dipuji sepenuhnya. tapi hasilnya tetap ada.

Tapi, Tidak perlu menjelaskan semuanya secara detail pada komachi, cukup aku saja yang tahu dan mengerti semua ini.

"Setelah dipikir lagi, Memang Ga ada apa-apa"

Sambil merendahkan bahu, aku menepis semuanya sebagai candaan. dengan ini percakapan pun berakhir, dan aku melahap sisa sarapan pagi.

Tetapi komachi masih berisikeras melanjutkan.

"Hah~ Berkata itu lagi, Jadi Apa yang terjadi?"

Memiringkan lehernya, meletakan tangannya di dagu, dan tersenyum ringan. Aksi seperti ini memang terlihat sangat menggemaskan, Akan tetapi tekad kuat bisa dirasakan. Postur badannya seolah-olah mengatakan tidak akan menerima penjelasan yang setengah-setengah.

Tapi Perlakuan seperti ini menyebalkan juga. Biasanya sikap komachi yang ingin ikut campur ini tidak menggangu sama sekali, dan pasti akan berakhir dan dihilangkan dengan tawa. Meskipun mengatakan sesuatu yang serius pasti akan hilang bagaikan asap. Pada awalnya komachi itu engga bakal terlalu ikut campur.

Meskipun komachi melakukan apa yang biasa dilakukannya, tapi jika secara sengaja terus ingin ikut campur seperti ini, kesal juga.

"..... Menyebelin tau ga. Udah cukup"

"....."

Karena kata-kata kasarku barusan komachi terlihat tercengang, tapi kondisi terdiam seperti itu hanya sesaat saja sesaat kemudian . Bahunya langsung bergetar, Matanya terbuka lebar dan membalas dengan suara tinggi.

".... Kata-kata macam apa itu!"

"Bukan apa-apa kok, Aku cuma berkata seperti biasanya. Lagipula kamu emang nyebelin dan ngeselin"

Bisa dipastikan kata-kata tadi itu belum pernah kukatakan. Tapi seberapapun aku menangkalnya, kata-kata yang tadi kuucapkan tak akan bisa diambil kembali.

Komachipun memicingkan matanya dan menatap kearahku, kemudian perlahan-lahan garis matanya jatuh ke bawah.

".... Hunn, baiklah ga akan ku tanya lagi"

"Tolong lakukan seperti itu"

Percakapan kami berdua terpotong dan hilang dari meja makan, kami berdua melanjutkan makan dalam kesunyian, waktupun terasa beku dan bergerak begitu lambat.

Komachi meminum habis supnya, lalu mengumpulkan peralatan makan dan membawanya ke tempat cuci. dan langsung menuju pintu dan berhenti diambang pintu. kemudian dia berkata tanpa melihat kearah ku.

"Komachi pergi duluan, jangan lupa kunci pintunya"

"Ya"

Setelah percakapan pendek ini, komachi menutup pintu. sesaat terdengar suara kecil dari arahnya.

".... Sudah kuduga, pasti ada sesuatu yang terjadi"

Tertingal sendiri di ruang tengah aku pun mengambil cangkir teh. panasnya sudah hilang dan hanya menyisakan hangat-hangat kuku.

Entah sudah berapa tahun sejak terakhir kali aku dan komachi bertengkar seperti ini, meskipun ini sedikit terlambat. Aku merasa sedikit khawatir. Komachi jarang sekali marah, akan tetapi, kemarahan jenis ini bisa dikatakan berasal dari neraka. apalagi dia sedang memasuki masa remaja. ketika pulang nanti entah wajah apa yang akan dia buat.

ini adalah saudara di dunia nyata.

Berhubungan dengan orang lain itu sulit.

tapi meskipun begitu, karena suatu hal bisa hilanglah, hal itu menjadi indah. karena suatu hal bisa berakhirlah, hal itu mempunyai arti.

Stagnasi atau halangan, dengan kata lain tempat beristirahat. Berpura-pura tidak tahu dan ketundukan itu bukanlah hal yang baik. Kau harus selalu menyadari bahwa kerugian, kehilangan akan selalu ada.
suatu saat sekali-kali kita akan perlahan melihat kembali pada apa yang telah hilang dengan rindu dan kasih bagaikan harta berharga. Bagaikan kebahagian seorang yang perlahan-lahan memiringkan cangkir sake, kebahagian yang sendiri dan tertutup.

Ini adalah Pagi Hari yang tidak menyenangkan.

Terdengan bunyi tak-tak dari angin dingin yang menggoyang-goyang jendela, cuaca hari ini baik dan sangat cerah. udara hangat didalam kamar yang mengundang kantuk.

Ini adalah pagi yang cukup tidak menyenangkan.

Hari Senin aku kembali dari wisata sekolah, dengan bermalas-malasan aku memaksa tubuh yang gak karuan ini untuk pergi ke kamar kecil.

Terlihat dibayangan cermin, mata yang masih setengah tidur. Dia yang berada di sana adalah wajah yang sangat kukenali keberadaanya .... Yup, Seperti biasa, Cukup untuk antiklimak, benar-benar seperti biasa, tidak ada bedanya sedikitpun.

Tidak mempunyai motivasi pergi kesekolah, selalu ingin tidak melakukan apa-apa, dan sebelum keluar rumahpun sudah merasakan home sick, semuanya adalah diriku yang biasanya.

hanya saja air yang kugunakan untuk membasuh mukaku ini terasa sedikit lebih dingin daripada biasanya.
Musim gugur sudah berlalu, bisa dikatakan bulan ini sudah masuk musim salju, hanya tinggal satu bulan lagi kita akan meninggalkan tahun.

kedua orang tuaku sudah berangkat terlebih dahulu untuk menghindari jam sibuk. Untuk musim yang akan datang, jika berangkat kerja pada saat-saat terakhir atau sedikit terlambat maka bisa dipastikan akan sangat ramai sekali.
Seperti yang kuduga bahwa manusia, sekalipun orang dewasa akan terlihat lemah pada pagi hari dimusim salju.
siapapun juga akan ingin tetap berada di dalam kasur dan bermalas-malasan hingga detik-detik terakhir.

Akan tetapi meskipun begitu, mereka mempunyai alasan untuk tetap pergi ke kantor. Dan adapula orang-orang yang tetap aktif apapun alasannya/halangannya (ProAktif)

Akan tetapi, karena itu adalah permintaan dari masyarakat, mereka pun ikut melakukannya, agar tidak terlempar keluar dari alirannya, pasti akan ada alasan yang bisa digunakan untuk memperbudak seseorang. Manusia Bergerak untuk mendapatkan sesuatu, dan, untuk tidak kehilangan sesuatu.

Didalam cermin terpantul wajah yang cukup di atas rata-rata dan sederhana. dan juga terlihat mata yang kusam dan busuk dengan level ultra high school yang tidak biasa. Oleh karena itu inilah aku, oleh karena itu inilah hikigaya hachiman. Setelah puas dengan diriku yang tidak berubah sedikitpun dari masalalu itu aku pergi ke kamar mandi.

Ketika masuk ke ruang tengah, terlihat sosok adikku komachi sedang berdiri di dapur di depan pemanas teko elektrik dengan postur/sikap yang mengesankan. Mungkin karena orang tua ku sudah sarapan lebih dulu, menu sarapan hari ini sudah habis. dan jika komachi memberikan aku secangkir teh maka aku pun siap berangkat.

ketika aku menarik kursi, komachi yang sedang menuangkan air panas kedalam teko teh tiba-tiba melihat ke belakang.

"Oh, Kakak Selamat Pagi"

"Oo, Selamat Pagi"

Setelah aku membalas salam nya, kemudian komachi pun terlihat sedikit terkesan dan berkata.

"... Hmmm Keliatanya hari ini matanya sudah benar-benar bangun ya"

Dikatakan seperti itu aku memiringkan kepalaku, apakah setiap hari aku itu selalu lemah dipagi hari? Enggak, Gaperlu di pikirkan pun aku itu lemah dipagi hari. bukan saja karena tekanan darah yang rendah tapi juga karena ga ada motivasi sedikitpun. Jadi apa yang dikatan komachi tidak salah. aku benar-benar bangun pagi hari ini.

"... Oh,.. itu karena aku mencuci muka dengan air dingin"

karena apa yang dikatakannya tepat, komachi terlihat heran dengan suasana ini dan melihat padaku.

"Humn... menurut komachi sih airnya ga ada bedanya dengan yang biasa"

"Tapi menurutku hari ini terasa tiba-tiba menjadi lebih dingin, daripada itu cepat habiskan makanannya dan ayo berangkat kesekolah"

"a.. Un"

Komachi datang dengan membawa secangkir teh, terdengar suara tap-tap dari sandalnya. Sepertinya dirumahku ini tidak memilih "ayataka(merek teh botol)" melainkan teh yang ada dalam teko.

duduk dikursi, dengan menyatukan tangan, kami berdua mengucapkan "selamat makan" dengan suara kecil.

pada musim dingin di rumah hikigaya, makanan yang hangat atau sup dari daging ikan mentah dan sayuran yang diberi cuka sering muncul dalam menu sarapan.

bisa dibilang dengan memakan sup itu akan menghangatkan tubuh sebelum keluar rumah, aku benar-benar bisa merasakan rasa cinta dari ibuku.

karena tidak tahan panas akupun meniup-niup sup rasa daging ikan mentah yang diberi cuka untuk mendinginkannya, dihadapanku komachi pun melakukan hal yang sama, dan mata kita bertemu.

Komachi meletakan mangkok supnya, dan tiba-tiba berkata.

"... Kak"

"Apa?"

Setelah respon pendek ini, garis mata komachi terlihat gelisah ingin menanyakan sesuatu.

"Kak, Apa ada sesuatu yang terjadi?"

"Ga ada... Lagipula, Sebaliknya hidupku selama ini berlalu begitu saja tanpa terjadi apapun. "Ningen Benji Saiougauma"(Check Google), jika di pikir-pikir dengan terjadinya sesuatu mungkin akan membuat sesuatu lebih baik. Misalnya Seseorang yang memiliki penyakit kronis lalu pergi ke rumah sakit dan kembali dalam keadaan sehat. Karena itu jika dilihat dari segi paradox tidak terjadi apa-apa itulah yang bisa dikatakan penuh drama"

Setelah mengatakan semua itu, Mata komachi berkedip-kedip karena terkejut.

"Apa kakak baik-baik saja?"

Tak Terpengaruh, Sama sekali tidak terpengaruh.

Bena-benar ga terpengaruh kata-kataku sedikitpun, Iya sih emang bukan sesuatu yang penting tapi paling engga berikan sedikit reaksi atau apa gitu, padahal buat yang tadi aku sudah memikirkan banyak hal....

Apakah karena ini hari senin? makanya dia sulit menangkap kata-kata ku.

"Engga,... Pokoknya sih, Ga ada apa-apa"

Akupun memakan telur mata sapi dengan sumpitku, telur mata sapi itu sebenarnya makanan jepang atau barat ya?
Mendengar jawabanku, komachi pun terdiam dan perlahan menggeser mangkok supnya, lalu mencondongkan badannya dan menatap wajahku.

"Kak, Apa kau tau?"

"Apanya? Mameshiba(Check Google)?"

ataukah tentang kucing dalam kotak? karena adiku ini tipe gadis dalam kotak juga.Tapi, mungkin juga Monster makanan berbentuk anak anjing, kita berdua kebetulan sedang makan. Mungkinkah, panda dengan badan besar itu? tapi komachi bukan panda maniak. Adiku yang sedang mencondongkan badanya ke arahku secara natural akan memperlihatkan isi dadanya.

Jadi, Yup lebih baik aku ga tau.

Postur adikku saat ini sangatlah menggemaskan.

Setelah puas menelitiku, komachi pun menghela nafas.

"Kakak itu memang biasanya mengatakan hal-hal bodoh, tapi pas lagi ga enak badan kakak itu makin sering mengatakan hal-hal bodoh"

"Oh... Begitu..."

Seperti biasa penilainya itu menyakitkan, Tapi karena yang dikatakan adiku ini ada benarnya aku pun tak bisa bicara apa-apa. tetapi bisa menganalisaku secara detail hanya dari kata-kata saja adiku ini seorang penyidik psikologis? Metode pengarsiapan macam apa itu?

"Oh ya ka..."

Komachi terlihat ragu-ragu dengan yang ingin dia katakan, sembari menusuk-nusuk salad dengan sumpit dan memainkan tomat chery ditangannya.entah kenapa aku bisa memprediksi kata-kata yang sudah berada di ujung lidahnya, karena kita ini saudara? ataukah karena kita sedang memikirknya hal yang sama.

lalu, komachi perlahan meletakan sumpitnya dan menatap kearahku.

"Apa ini ada kaitanya dengan... yui-san dan yukino-san?"

sambil mendengarkan komachi, aku terus melanjutkan sarapan pagiku. bicara sambil makan itu tidak sopan, perlahan aku menelan sarapanku. bersamaan dengan sup rasa daging ikan mentah yang diberi cuka tertelan juga banyak perasaan dihati ini.

".... Apa mereka berdua mengatakan sesuatu sama kamu?"

"... Ga"

Komachi perlahan menggelengkan kepalanya.

"Mereka berdua itu bukan orang yang akan membicarakan hal seperti itu begitu saja, kakak juga pasti tahu kan?"

mendengar komachi berkata seperti itu aku pun tak punya kata-kata untuk membantahnya.

Yukinoshita ataupun Yuigahama, mereka itu memang sering mengatakan hal-hal yang aneh dan sepele tetapi mereka itu bukanlah tipe orang yang akan tiba-tiba curhat dengan adik orang lain.

"Ini Cuma... Komachi punya perasaan seperti itu"

Setelah mengatakan itu komachi sekilas melirik ke arahku untuk melihat reaksiku. Karena kita berdua selalu tinggal bersama, pasti akan ada hal-hal yang disadarinya sekalipun diinginkan ataupun tidak.

"Oh.. Iya"

Setelah Percakapan yang tidak begitu penting ini aku melihat kearah jarum jam dinding yang berdetak perlahan dan melanjutkan sarapan pagiku. tetapi komachi tetap melihatku dengan tenang dan memperhatikan gerak gerikku.

"Sambil makan juga ga apa-apa kok, Oh iya ngomong-ngomong"

Sepertinya komachi masih terus ingin melanjutkan topik ini, dia terlihat sangat ingin mengetahui permasalahannya. Pandanganku melayang pada 2 hari yang lalu dan teringat suatu hal.

"Kalo ga salah, Hal seperti ini Sebelumnya pernah terjadikan?"

"Hal seperti ini?"

Ingatan ku semakin terlihat jelas, yang komachi ingin katakan mungkin adalah kejadian sekitar bulan juli lalu. kalau di pikir-pikir hal seperti ini memang pernah terjadi dan aku tidak berubah sedikitpun sejak saat itu, aku gitu loh.

Tak ada peningkatan ataupun perubahan sedikitpun.

Komachi memegang cangkir tehnya dengan erat untuk menghangatkan tangannya Terlihat sebatang daun teh melayang tegak dipermukaannya.

".... Tapi, Yang waktu itu agak sedikit berbeda"

"Itu sudah pasti, Manusia itu akan selalu berubah setiap hari misalnya dalam waktu 5 atau 7 tahun saja sel-sel dalam tubuh manusia akan berubah bukan? Oleh karena itu manusia adalah-"

"Iya Iya"

Terlihat lelah dengan apa yang ku katakan komachi tertawa ringan, lalu komachi melepaskan tangannya dari cangkir teh dan meletakannya di lutut.

"... Jadi, apa yang sudah kakak lakukan?"

"Jangan menyalahkan semuanya padaku"

Meskipun aku berkata seperti itu, Komachi hanya diam dan terus menatap mataku. jika diperlakukan seperti ini yang keluar dari pikiran hanya hal-hal buruk saja. karena otakku Bergerak kasar seperti ini, otomatis aku mengalihkan pandangan mataku.

"... Ga ada apa-apa, Sejak awal juga memang ga ada apa-apa"

Komachi pun menghela nafas panjang.

"Sekalipun mungkin kakak itu ga bersalah, tapi ada kemungkinan kalau kakak itu memang sudah melakukan sesuatu, ga ada cara lain... ayo kita bicarakan hal ini satu persatu"

"Meskipun kau bicara seperti itu...."

Aku selalu memikirkan kejadian itu sejak kembali dari kyoto meskipun beberapa hari telah berlalu, benar aku memikirkannya. apakah ada kesalahan yang dibuat? apakah masih ada masalah yang tersisa? aku terus memikirkan kejadian itu.

Tapi, jalan keluar yang kupilih itu adalah jalan keluar terbaik dan paling efektif. tidak ada pilihan dengan kemungkinan berhasil dan aman ditambah lagi dengan waktu yang sangat terbatas dan sedikitnya pilihan yang ada. Ku pikir hasil seperti ini bisa dikatakan cukup baik.

Berhasil terhindar dari kemungkinan terburuk, Berhasil menyelesaikan satu "permintaan", meskipun prosesnya belum bisa dipuji sepenuhnya. tapi hasilnya tetap ada.

Tapi, Tidak perlu menjelaskan semuanya secara detail pada komachi, cukup aku saja yang tahu dan mengerti semua ini.

"Setelah dipikir lagi, Memang Ga ada apa-apa"

Sambil merendahkan bahu, aku menepis semuanya sebagai candaan. dengan ini percakapan pun berakhir, dan aku melahap sisa sarapan pagi.

Tetapi komachi masih berisikeras melanjutkan.

"Hah~ Berkata itu lagi, Jadi Apa yang terjadi?"

Memiringkan lehernya, meletakan tangannya di dagu, dan tersenyum ringan. Aksi seperti ini memang terlihat sangat menggemaskan, Akan tetapi tekad kuat bisa dirasakan. Postur badannya seolah-olah mengatakan tidak akan menerima penjelasan yang setengah-setengah.

Tapi Perlakuan seperti ini menyebalkan juga. Biasanya sikap komachi yang ingin ikut campur ini tidak menggangu sama sekali, dan pasti akan berakhir dan dihilangkan dengan tawa. Meskipun mengatakan sesuatu yang serius pasti akan hilang bagaikan asap. Pada awalnya komachi itu engga bakal terlalu ikut campur.

Meskipun komachi melakukan apa yang biasa dilakukannya, tapi jika secara sengaja terus ingin ikut campur seperti ini, kesal juga.

"..... Menyebelin tau ga. Udah cukup"

"....."

Karena kata-kata kasarku barusan komachi terlihat tercengang, tapi kondisi terdiam seperti itu hanya sesaat saja sesaat kemudian . Bahunya langsung bergetar, Matanya terbuka lebar dan membalas dengan suara tinggi.

".... Kata-kata macam apa itu!"

"Bukan apa-apa kok, Aku cuma berkata seperti biasanya. Lagipula kamu emang nyebelin dan ngeselin"

Bisa dipastikan kata-kata tadi itu belum pernah kukatakan. Tapi seberapapun aku menangkalnya, kata-kata yang tadi kuucapkan tak akan bisa diambil kembali.

Komachipun memicingkan matanya dan menatap kearahku, kemudian perlahan-lahan garis matanya jatuh ke bawah.

".... Hunn, baiklah ga akan ku tanya lagi"

"Tolong lakukan seperti itu"

Percakapan kami berdua terpotong dan hilang dari meja makan, kami berdua melanjutkan makan dalam kesunyian, waktupun terasa beku dan bergerak begitu lambat.

Komachi meminum habis supnya, lalu mengumpulkan peralatan makan dan membawanya ke tempat cuci. dan langsung menuju pintu dan berhenti diambang pintu. kemudian dia berkata tanpa melihat kearah ku.

"Komachi pergi duluan, jangan lupa kunci pintunya"

"Ya"

Setelah percakapan pendek ini, komachi menutup pintu. sesaat terdengar suara kecil dari arahnya.

".... Sudah kuduga, pasti ada sesuatu yang terjadi"

Tertingal sendiri di ruang tengah aku pun mengambil cangkir teh. panasnya sudah hilang dan hanya menyisakan hangat-hangat kuku.

Entah sudah berapa tahun sejak terakhir kali aku dan komachi bertengkar seperti ini, meskipun ini sedikit terlambat. Aku merasa sedikit khawatir. Komachi jarang sekali marah, akan tetapi, kemarahan jenis ini bisa dikatakan berasal dari neraka. apalagi dia sedang memasuki masa remaja. ketika pulang nanti entah wajah apa yang akan dia buat.

ini adalah saudara di dunia nyata.

Berhubungan dengan orang lain itu sulit.

I've been trying to raise a suggestion regarding the English translation of Volume 4 but since the "system" never recognised any change log if all I simply edited was the comment in the summary box at the bottom, my suggestion never went through.

Anyhow, the title of volume 4 currently stands as the '''The Vanishing of Suzumiya Haruhi''' and the first thing that has always come to my mind in the past is that it just doesn't read well.
To check out the translation of the Japanese word, I looked up 消失 (which is pronounced something along the lines of "shiyoushitsu" I think) and what it accurately translates to is 'disappearance".
This translation of the kanji is ideal as not only it is accurate (disappear is synonymous with vanish) and the substitution of "vanishing" with "disappearance" is grammatically correct.

Hence I would suggest the title of Volume 4 be changed to: '''The Disappearance of Suzumiya Haruhi'''.

I just realized... there is a good possibility that they intended the edit but something screwed up their connection and they lost it for 18 seconds, and the wiki database might have accidentally picked up the incomplete send or something? During that time, the person might have changed IPs (dynamic IP).

Down to the point, I've seen quite more and more spam by bots theses last few weeks, so I think you'll be interested in this ; Well, I'm not too sure you're the one having server access, so if I'm wrong please forward to the right person.

The [http://meta.wikimedia.org/wiki/SpamBlacklist_extension mediawiki spamBlackList extension] prevents any save containing known spam adresses. All explanations about installing it should be on [http://meta.wikimedia.org/wiki/SpamBlacklist_Documentation there].

I also suggest using the current [http://meta.wikimedia.org/wiki/Spam_blacklist wikimedia spam list] here for starting, since that should cover most spams.

:seeing that the extension has been installed, I did some minor edits to simplify it (a few more badwords, less url) some hours ago, but it seems to has gone mad -- filter blocking edit on the spamlist page itself, and blocking badwords even outside url on the wiki... I've been working on chapter 9 of volume 1 which has 10 chapters in total. Ironically, it seems that the english BTS project hasn't been updated for months. I wonder if the translators were doing fine or they've posted it somewhere else? I would like to continue this project, but by the time I finish volume 1 and there is no new update (*sob)(*crying), I guess I'll switch to another project like Utsuro no Hako to Zero no Maria.

That is, I would like to take a copy of your script on Livejournal and "reconstruct" the pages together into clear divided Chapters as it was intended to. It will be quite a task i imagine, but if you have a copy of your previous script in one text file, that would be very helpful. Usually at Baka-Tsuki.org we allow scripts to be edited by volunteers, to catch out the little grammar & Spelling mistakes, however as the single translator to the project we can lock the scripts as well for your peace of mind> Hopefully you will receive this message and we can somewhat be able to communicate on one single method. :P

:Dear Bleu, it's very simple, please register on the wiki, it's free.
Now simple edit the registration page to add your registered wiki username to the corresponding chapters you wish to help. From there you can begin translating! Just create a new wiki page and remember to link it to the index page of the project.

I don't know who to ask, but when I try to send a confirmation email so that I can post on the forum and get my preferences updated, i keep on getting this message:

Hello, I'm Soryusu, currently translator of Haruhi in Lithuanian. The thing is, I'm a bit tired of this project (I'm mean, it's Haruhi, the girl sometimes gets on your nerves) and want to try out something new. So I got an idea about "Welcome to NHK!" light novel but since it's already been released in English, Baka-Tsuki has no project for it. I know people here try not to piss off copyright inquisitors, especially nowadays, but nevertheless is there any way for such project to exist? It's more like a hypothetical question though, because I have entrance exams coming up and wouldn't be working on the project now anyway (sucks to be me), however I would still like to upload 9 or so pages I've already done (that's like prologue + one and a half chapter).

Anyway, please let me know what you think.

Also, I've been lurking a bit and found that in the Spanish category there is this sole Golden Time prologue without any actual project for it. So I would like to ask is it OK to upload chapters like that? Before I decided to start NHK project I translated some other stuff (prologues of Tomodachi, Spice and Wolf, Shana), and I kinda think it would be a waste not to put them here (aside from satisfying my massive vanity) but don't really want to create separate projects for each of them, because they would be very much dead like that.

Regarding supervising, I think you know yourself that it's hard finding volunteers. After all, even most of the English projects are struggling with that, not to talk about languages witch have like one or two projects here. A person with all that dark and mysterious administrator power of doom will surely do for now.

Teaser tags sounds good. Actually, I don't really want to mess around with other people projects much. Also, everything could be found on the alt. language list in the Main Page or Teaser Projects list on the left, so no problem.
