(Checking use of the term 'pervert': Is the original term 'hentai', or something else such as 'henshitsu'sha' or 'henjin'? The impression gained from context seems to more closely equate to the term 'deviant' or similar. If 'hentai', granted, there may be no helping it. In any case, though puns are possible with sexual deviancy (colloquially referred to as perversion), there currently seems to be a (cognitive dissonance?) fairly-large gap between how the context is treating the word and how the reader's brain interprets the word.
