			Easy, use the translated term when referring to the concept, leave the word untranslated when used as a name/term of address. 			There appears to be mixed use of senior/junior and kohai/senpai within the text, e.g.;

			"I-I'm just a junior..." ... "But, but, Akeno-san is a senior...".

			Whereas later in the text;

			"...I don't want to separate from senpai either... Senpai, let's do several days worth of sennjutsu treatment for tonight..."

			Should the use be standardised into Japanese terminology (i.e. kohai/senpai) western (senior/junior) or is there a reason for mixed usage?
