That would explain Daiya's missing memories and Maria's non-box nature. Daiya and Maria won the first time, then Yuuri, and then Iroha and Kamiuchi (I can't remember the exact spellings and haste is too great to go back and check); several individuals seem to have realised the nature of the environment.
