Cover von der ersten Volume von Date A Live

Date A Live (デート・ア・ライブ), ist eine japanische Light Novel Reihe, die von Tachibana Koushi (橘公司) geschrieben wurde. Die Illustrationen sind von Tsunako (つなこ). Die Reihe wurde von dem Publisher Fujimi Fantasia Bunko veröffentlich. Das erste Mal wurde die Serie im März 2011 veröffentlich. Im April 2013 gab es eine Anime Adaption, diese deckte die Volumes 1-4 ab, im Juni 2013 endete die erste Staffel. 2014 erschien eine zweite Staffel, die die Volumes 5-7 abdeckt. Der Date A Live-Film Mayuri Judgement wurde im August 2015 veröffentlicht. Im Oktober 2017 wurde eine dritte Staffel angekündigt.

Inhalt[edit]

"Der 10. April. Gestern war der letzte Tag der Frühjahrsferien, also war heute Morgen der erste Schultag." Nachdem Shidou Itsuka von seiner süßen Schwester aufgeweckt wurde, dachte er es wäre der Start eines weiteren normalen Tages. Er ahnt nicht, dass er ein Mädchen treffen wird, das sich selbst einen Geist nennt...

Zusammen mit einer plötzlichen Schockwelle, verschwindet sie Stadtansicht ohne Spuren zu hinterlassen. In einer Straßenecke, welche jetzt nur noch ein Krater war, war dieses Mädchen.

"&mdasch;Du, bist du auch gekommen um mich zu töten?"

Sie ist das Verhängnis, das die Menschheit auslöschen wird, ein Monster mit unbekannter Herkunft, ein Wesen, abgeleht von der Welt. Es gibt nur zwei Wege um sie aufzuhalten: Zum einen sie zu Vernichten oder eine Konversation. Shidous kleine Schwester Kotori, gekleidet in einer Millitäruniform, sagt zu ihm: "Wenn es jetzt schon so ist, geh einfach mit ihr aus und lass den Geist dir verfallen!" "W...Waaaaaasss!?" Betritt eine neue Ära von "Junge trifft Mädchen!!!
