General talk[edit]

I fell in love with this series. That feeling, switching around between tragedy, despair, hope, and love, is quite infatuating. Though sometimes I found few mistakes in the translation and need a correction (a hundred-kilometers of mountain height?). Btw, are there any source available for its illustrations? For the other volumes, I meant. - RasteShelphyd (talk) 13:08, 1 February 2014 (CST)

Yes, there are illustrations available. I am translating volume 2 at the moment while also trying to find a friend or actually anyone with enough skills to Photoshop them into English. The source is from a Chinese online light novel reading website. If you have any questions, PM or email me. I will try to respond within 24 hours. - Zyresg123 (talk) 16:54, 1 February 2014 (EST)

For your information, I have all the illustrations, including after stories. As you can see, I had been the sole translator, editor, and supervisor here, and on top of that on a hectic schedule (as any translator would, likely, proclaim themselves in medic school), so I hope you would bear with (or even correct) the mistakes (ps hundred km mount o fuji corrected). - Pudding321 (talk) 19:24, 1 February 2014 (CST)

Glad to see you are still part of the project, Pudding321 . If possible, are you able to photo shop and post all the novel illustrations? I am still new to the project, and only started translations.(still have no idea how to format illustrations, images and text into a proper chapter) I am progressing at a pace of about 20-30% of a chapter each week. Please feel free to point out or edit any errors found in my soon-to-be posted material. Also, hope you don't mind if I make some grammatical corrections in the translated materials so far?- Zyresg123 (talk) 20:04, 1 February 2014 (CST)

No, I cannot photoshop the illustrations. Most projects don't edit their illustrations either. I will help out with this project if time is allowed. Feel free to nitpick, remove, or debate on any mistakes in the translation so far (Just bear in mind we're doing British English). Legend says that once a translation is uploaded on baka-tsuki, it's the translator's no more. - Pudding321 (talk) 23:18, 1 February 2014 (CST)

Do you guys have the raw novel? I really like this series and I'm wondering why more chapters haven't been added, so i thought that maybe you guys don't have the original? -Slagathar

Finding electronic raws is trivial. Finding them in paper form was a bit trickier since for some reason there seems to be no new copies of volume 5 anymore. Luckily I managed to find a used copy of it in Akiba. Most likely there is little progress because translating books is very time consuming and the translators might be busy with more important things in their lives. -Kupo 12 January 2015
